I must be one of the few who isn't that arsed, annoying to miss it but you'll be going alone (likely?), will struggle to get a beer in London, the celebrations will be shit (if we do win) and it's a lot of hassle.

 

If you don't get one just watching it round a gaff with your mates and have a tank full:beer:

in all seriousness though. you’re probably right. i won’t want to go if we’re marshalled off the train at st p and made to go straight to a holding pen outside wembley. with the same on the way back. yuck

You're not alone in that thought. I know a good few including myself who would fall into getting a ticket but are choosing to miss it for some of those and other reasons.

I'm not that bothered, because the situation is what it is,  and I get that it's not going to be the best experience but I was 6 months old the last time we played in a FA Cup Final. My dad attended the three losing final's in the 60's, I feel it's kind of personal.

 

For all the hassle involved if there is an opportunity to go I won't hesitate in taking it.

 

At the end of the day I just want us to win it!

For me, it's watch it at home with the wife and two young kids bothering me, or being at Wembley on my own but able to watch the game in peace. No brainer if given the option. Not fussed about drinking or watching with other people necessarily.

I've got the same reservations but a Spurs fan I know said even despite the situation and result he really enjoyed last week.

I'm not voluntary missing an FA Cup final just because of circumstances. Might be the only FA Cup final we reach in my lifetime!

What's all this nonsense about the final being a 'nice day out' that I'm reading? It won't be that for any of our fans, it will start with at least one sleepless night, waking up on the day feeling sick, traveling down stupidly early in case the whole transport infrastructure of the UK happens to fail that day, drinking too early, and therefore forgetting the match winning goal, and suffering from an absolutely banging hangover for the following days. 

 

I'm an avid fan of the NHS workers as much as the next person, but I've been to games and sat near neutrals, and they're more bothered about the half time hot chocolate. Plus they spend most of the game asking stupid questions, like what was Vardy's wife wearing last time she was in Hello. 

 

Any tickets available should go to the fans who have dreamed of this, literally, for as long as they can remember.
