It’s dogshit from everyone involved, but talk of selling them for this alone is nonsense.

If Maddison sends us to the FA Cup final, we’ll love him again.

They absolutely deserve to be public ally hung out to dry, fined wages and made to apologise, but off the top of my head Kyle Walker, Jack Grealish and Joao Cancelo have breached covid guidelines.

However strongly you might feel about the rules, I’m fed up of footballers living in a different class to the rest of us, but I’m even more annoyed that they’ve let the team down today.

Golfing takes the piss, but him watching the game at home doesn’t make it any better either.

I'm really pissed off, we are at a point in LCFC history in doing great things.  We have one of the most important games of the season and beyond.  What makes players do something stupid.....

Know how you feel really the year I’ve been through at work working on ICU, then a positive this year of negativity seeing our great club do amazing things in the league and FA Cup we could be going for a top 3 finish maybe also an FA cup win too who knows?

What is it with some people who think they’re immortal and can break rules to have a party, we’d all love to meet up and have a party with our mates and loved ones but we’re following the rules

I can’t even go for a pint Tomorrow with the wife now we actually can go to a pub at last, unfortunately I’ve got to self isolate due contracting the dreaded Virus 🦠 The week I get my 2nd jab I end up getting the bloody Virus just my luck I’d probably win the lottery but lose the ticket!😱

Hoping we can come above this and continue to keep our 3rd position in the league !

Well there are a few things I have issues with. One, if he didn’t even watch the game... that literally means he doesn’t care. Even the kit ladies watch the team.  My mates work in f1, they don’t drive the car but they watch every race because they care about the team.

Two, and this may be pedantic but if I’d been having hip issues the last sport I’d be playing is golf!!! At least rest the injury

edit- I need to add a third here. After being sent home from England duty, he got hounded for going to the casino... how has he not learnt from that... is he brain dead? Or just that arrogant

I try and be understanding of the players - they are young men and it’s been tough for all of us being locked in doors.

ive always loved watching and listening to Madders (even if he frustrates me going down to easily) so I really hope this doesn’t negatively effect his time with us. Such a terrific player.

id be gutted if Wes was involved as he’s a legend, but not overly bothered with the other 2.

Gutted they got shopped. Someone must have spilled the beans. The amount of people breaching lockdown rules is not minor, so they are only doing what lots of others have done.

Wonder the percentage of people on here who are saying they have acted irresponsibly but were around their mates house last night.

Not many long haired folk wandering around this lockdown, particularly not in the football circles which show the majority of them have broken the rules.

Just an all round sad day for our club from our players to coaches and management and owners and most of all us fans this is so heart breaking. The reason why many of us are so distraught is the manner and timing of this event. The players know who they are irregardless who the media is implicating. Today was a very very important game where we needed to win and we could have won had we had our heads in the game and not distracted by anything else other than winning and getting the 3 points. They may not know it truly but fans at home and world wide many waking up at all hours to show support via tv and online. It's just shameful all we are hearing now is how bad we played today and how shameful some of our players are during this pandemic. It's embarrassed us fans and the club and the city.

They have to make amends and fast! Public apology and some hefty fines. Our reputation as a club is at stake. We have an FA cup semi final game next week and today's events are not the ideal form of preparation for such a huge game. Just flat out disappointed with them all.

Maddison represents modern football, they only care about money now unless their at a united or city.

bale and his haircut represent modern football

to be honest the thing is a money driven shitshow and their are better ways to spend your money

**** the lot of em

That's a tad unfair. This is the guy who has been to u23 games to lend his support and goes to support his teammates at matches when he's sidelined with injuries. I am very frustrated at him - he made some bad decisions, but he's definitely not just driven by money.

Just reeks of pure piss taking....like plastering yourself wearing a Derby shirt all over social media whilst playing for one of their provincial rivals. I hope to god for his own sake he grows the **** up soon.

As for Perez and Hamza. **** them both off.

Barnes and Morgan too?! Ffs. What the **** is going on behind the scenes? A proper kick in the bollocks this is, I’d defend any of these lads on any given weekend but I can’t right now. It’s an utter disgrace.

Doesn't matter but I wonder the context of this 'party' is. A few teammates together, maybe with partners, still not allowed but they could have thought no harm done. Or a party full of randomers, getting pissed and dancing.

Against the rules regardless and punishment still correct.

Right so you know exactly how the rules were broken and the complete circumstances do you?

Not how, nor details, no. Why would I?

But the club's statement and Rodger's comment ("We're a club that has a set of values. If we fall below that, then there is always consequences) makes it pretty clear that they have ****ed up massively, no?

Not sure what your point is.

Exactly, 'party' suggests DJ Jeff on the decks, randomers doing lines in the bogs, police being called..

Whereas I'd wager this was a small private 'do', bbq with partners all sitting round playing charades

Have you read the chain of posts that you replied to, and not just the final one you quoted? At no point did I suggest an indiscretion was just a rumour, I suggested the "big party" was a rumour.

Indeed, as I said earlier having a beer with a few players and parter in the garden and then messing up and going inside when you shouldn't is very very different, to going to a wild orgy of 50 people.

Both against the rules, both wrong. But totally different shades of wrong in terms of how angry people are going to be.
