Watching the coverage of the game, Matterface belittles us so much throughout the game.

"Leicester punching above their weight"

"More than our fair share of penalties last year"

So we all had to either prove we had 2 jabs or have a negative test before entry. What a joke! The Steward we passed never really bothered to check, you could have waved anything under his face and he would have simply let you in. He was more concerned in making sure my missus was okay going up the steps!

As for a restricted bag policy. I. e. No bag bigger than A4, what a joke that was. The guy in front of me was carrying a large haversack filled with God knows what. He was simply waved inside, his bag was then quickly scrutinised. No mention of the fact it was supposedly too big!

Still didn't stop us enjoying our day out and now looking forward to the start of the season.

Same here, just behind me, they booed the knee, swore at least 3 times in every sentence, we're racist against fellow Leicester fans, abused a steward, like seriously I'm not even sure they watched the game. Morons. Why bother coming to the game if that's all you want to do. I was actually embarrassed for them. Kids everywhere but they were acting like yobby children.

Other than that, really enjoyed the day, so proud of this club, Top walking around with the Shield was the Icing on the cake.

It's the reason I don't go as often as I used to, there just seems to be a distinct change not just in football fans but society in general in this country over the past decade.

Why people cant treat a game to have a good time see it as a celebration of your club but instead use it as a platform to abuse people is truly beyond my comprehension.

Let's be honest, for many of the drunken, racist wasters that tried to ruin the day, this was merely a free pass for an all day drinking session. I doubt many had interest in Leicester, maybe not even football itself, but the open availability of tickets allowed them the opportunity to come along.

We shouldn't let them be the focus, or even talking point, of a great performance.

I thought it was an absolutely brilliant display by every single player out there today, both starting and substitute. Those of particular note, i thought Maddison looked a lot sharper than he has done recently, I think our entire defensive line was solid, special admiration of Amartey who was faultless.

Say what you want about the status of the Community Shield, but its a trophy, against the champions of England. Hopefully install's a lot of positivity and confidence throughout the squad and further justifies to the new arrivals that they chose the right club.

not massively, everybody knows racism is bad and people that don't aren't going to be persuaded by silly gestures (started in support of BLM). I just feel it's a slippery slope, why not do a gesture for discrimination against disabled, then one for LGBT (as well as the rainbow corner flags), maybe one for Israel too, battered women, and then it's not fair if you ignore suicide charities. it's impossible to objectively say which causes need supporting.

Started in support of BLM. No started by Colin Kaepernick as a respectful protest against discrimination.

Taken up by many groups protesting that black lives are less valued  (by the police, politicians and society as whole ) than white (see Dalian Atkinson, Steven Laawrence etc).  Hijacked by an extremist group calling themselves BLM in the US.

Slippery slope? This is about young black men, with the support of their white colleagues pointing out injustice. I'm not sure if you know but there are very few disabled players in the premier league and even fewer battered women.

And while idiots feel compelled to mouth racist epithets at black pundits it is clear that the message hasn't sunk in to the bonehead underclass.

Sadly it is a reflection on society and not the club, on the way to Wembley, we came via Dorking, Clapham Junction and there were quite a few local fans from other clubs and their attitude towards others was vile, not just other supporters but other passengers, most were drunk or drinking and grim beyond belief. I don't mind a bit of banter, singing and getting into the mood, these were just vile anti social racist morons.

45k was the supposed attendance yesterday.

Maybe tickets sold/given away. But I'd be amazed if there were anywhere near that many.

Our end had hundreds, if not thousands, of empty 'sold seats' (where flags had been placed but the seat unoccupied)

I reckon 16k at our end, 10k their end and 4k ish in the neutral. Max.

Great performance yesterday, particularly first half. Harvey and Ricardo looking promising. Liked the look of Bertrand, calm composed and excellent delivery. Amartey was solid, granted not against their first choice attack, but still a front line with Mahrez and Ferran Torres. Soumare looks strong as an ox, that spell where about six Man City players bounced off him was impressive to say the least. Created more chances, defended well when needed to. Seeing us lift silverware at Wembley doesn’t happen often (although that seems to be changing 🦊)

It was great to be back in a stadium with a full crowd. Inconsistency with the covid checks - not asked on entry for anything as one of the first through our turnstile but not overly surprised given accounts from the cup final. Nice to be with more foxes, however the intoxicated and self entitled element took a shine off that. More than usual half cut, fighting amongst themselves, blocking people’s views and not giving a toss when challenged, boos which soon drowned out with applause during the knee (regardless of your views on it, the players are clear why they choose to do it). Hopefully less of this element roll out at West Ham but I’m sure there will be a few. Hopefully it didn’t spoil the day for most people, it didn’t spoil mine but took the shine off it a little

Apart from the bellends who abused Wright I've got to say our fans have done us proud in these last 2 Wembley trips. Watched both on the telly and thought we looked and sounded brilliant both times, certainly outsung both the Chelsea and City ends as well.

Great effort by those involved

A Man City mate of mine - who is one of the better ones and said well done for us winning it - said he was disappointed we booed Mahrez. Can anyone who has better hearing than me confirm?

Booed him and called him willy puller relentlessly.

I feel no shame. He went on strike, he's taken several swipes at us, and he didn't bother paying his nanny. Sod him.

Didnt notice at first but Daka absolutlely pounced on the loose ball after Kell was fouled and keeper made a great  save .He  looks like he will combine with Nacho as a 2 giving a different option to Vardy on his own upp top,

There was a rather large proportion of morons in attendance yesterday.

You can usually spot them a mile off when you're in pubs and outside the ground, feel for anyone who's day was tainted by idiots that they had to sit near though.

AGREED.

This is what happens when so many seats go to general sale. There were a lot of issues with what was otherwise an excellent match.

Back to the football. I am now absolutely of the opinion that Wilf is our most valuable and  irreplaceable player. He is simply on a different level.

Not only does he win the Ball a ridiculously amount of times but he makes it look so easy.

What has impressed me even more about him in the friendlies, is that his football awareness and passing has improved so much under Brendan.

He's priceless to us but his value has to be 100 million +

Kasper’s gloves looked interesting. Tribute to Vichai or some branding of sorts?

All the talk of Man City 'B', but little mention that we had the whole back 4 missing most of whom would be starting.

Justin, Fofana, Evan, Castange

Would be better back 4 then most PL teams expect 4 or 5.

Just to add on the idiots that were there, I can see why the Green Man want to maximise profits, but having 6 women walking around offering 3 shots for a tenner probably isn't the best idea.

Especially when they started doing it at around 11.30am.

Hardly promotes responsible drinking.

Some people were dead set on getting hammered, so let them do it of their own accord, helping them to do it is pretty reckless in my opinion.
