Ricardo is back

Some rusty decisions made in the final third (by both teams)

Amartey cannot pass the ball

Some of the positioning and movement of the back line when Vesty and Soyuncu played together looked encouraging

Barnes decisions looked a little rushed

Thomas continues to impress

Ndidi and Tielemans bossed the first half

Always horrible playing Wolves. Would have taken any kind of win.

Fortunate to win, thankfully Wolves finishing was worse than our defending.

 

Bringing on Vestergaard and having 3 CBs and 3 CMs was such a baffling decision from Rodgers. Should’ve left Vestergaard on the bench and brought on Daka or Albrighton and continued to stretch the game. Instead, we invited pressure and lost all shape and control.

 

Win’s a win though so let’s move on swiftly to next week!

I think we almost have two sets of forward lines - Vardy & Barnes and then Ieanacho & Daka. Both need game time to gel together, but unless we start swapping them at half-time or one gets an injury then it'll be more Vardy & Barnes in the league and then Ieanacho and Daka in the cups and then filling in later in the season. For BR, it must be a nice problem to have.

With the exception of one...

Why did we push Vardy in those last 20Minute

Nacho, Barnes, sub I understand...

Maddison i injury obvious, but...

We Now have DAKA.!!!

I Hope Brendan, like English cricket Captains with Anderson,

Learns quickly Not to over do his Time on the pitch....

 

In fact, if should be a Now recognised tactic, that Vardy if he starts ( which he should), should be ready to , accept that he will be pulled  65-75mins.

Today was that day to begin !!!

 

Plus Maddison could well Need a detailed Therapie & convalescence...With  Time out until November...

Wins a win, just glad to be back at the ground after 18 months. Surprised how poor we looked second half, few let offs but hopefully just a few cobwebs. A better team would have punished us big time though.

Good to get 3 points on the board early days. Positives and negatives but id have snapped your hand off if offered that before kick off. Plus found a new site and the stream was perfect and hd best ive used yet.

Rodgers just said on Radio Leicester Bertrand  had a lateral flow test and it was positive but "is not contagious the part of the virus he has". no idea what that means

I wouldn't want to be Rodgers in training. Serious competition and some angry players for not playing enough.

We won, but that was a poor display coupled with some poor subs. Negative tactics led to a very negative 2nd half. Take the win, but need to improve.
