As ricky demonstrated the right footer goes around the side and along that byeline before pulling the ball back to the penalty spot to be slotted in.

If we're getting a player like Lookman on loan on deadline day then clearly our scouts/manager never wanted him in the first place.

It’s the tried and tested formula that we used for Under. 
 

It will be interesting to see whether we see the same outcome so that we can try it again next summer

Have you seen us play football over the last 2 years? At what point have we needed a right winger when Ricardo has been fit and playing the way we know he can?

Everyone is happy with his stats? Yes, great are there any stats from the right? Do they look anything like that? If he was a right winger who can fill in on the left I would actually be buzzing for this. This is the exact player we need. Just wrong side. He is a left winger that can do a job on the right, we already have that. I’d love him to deliver on the right but I don’t see it. Will not write him off though. Really hope I’m wrong. Good luck to him

Rogers in his interview sounded like they have their man it’s just about negotiation. Lookman had never been on our radar had he?

i know nothing about him other than that game he played against us which gave our defenders the wobbles. At this point I’ll take him over getting absolutely nobody. It’s worth a try and if he magically works out for us well bloody hell we will all be laughing to the bank!

True, this time next year, Everton will be desperate to offload Townsend.

Jason Bourne reported that we wanted him earlier in the summer but couldn't agree a fee with Leipzig. I imagine we've exhausted our other options and now gone back to Lookman. 

 

At least it seems like he was an early target and not a last minute panic.

I wouldn't get too excited, this will be the man. IF there was another target out there we were actively pursuing, something would've slipped by now.

Longest run was 7 games.

 

He sort of had runs of games then a break of a couple and than another run of 4 or 5 games and than a break and so on.

 

Minutes wise he managed the equivalent of 22 full games that season in the PL

 

It was the season Puel was in charge and got sacked in Feb for Rodgers.

 

Appearance, including starts and subs across all comp only Wilf made more.

He’ll improve the squad, give us some more options out wide and if it is a loan it is low risk.   
 

As others have said, I’d fancy my chances of getting in ahead of Perez.

Loaned last year to Fulham, didn’t they buy him (amongst loads of others) to develop?

Never settled in Germany with a combination of Leipzig's rise happening much faster than expected. Leipzig finished 2nd last season and got the the last 4 of the Champions League two seasons ago, that's quite the meteoric rise.

i saw fulham play a few times in the middle of last season and lookman isn't kick and rush like Schlupp...he was positive and creative in possession, he didn't get knocked off the ball easily and didnt panic when in possession in opposition half. I dont know if he fits a Brendan rogers type team as fulham all seemed so close to one another when they played

You know what, fuch it, I'm going to allow myself to get excited by this signing. He's earned himself a move to a club chasing the Champions League. Let's hope he takes the opportunity with both hands.

That'll be why I've got no recollection, blanked it out and had no interest then :crylaugh: :thumbup:
