I gave Gray a lot of patience and time, more than most because I wanted us to sign him years before we did, eventually I lost patience mainly down to a perceived “attitude problem” with Gray but given the things I’ve outlined above, I think I’d have an attitude problem in those circumstances. The fact Everton fans speak of Lookman the same as how some Leicester fans speak of Gray which is why they’re not getting excited about Gray yet speaks volumes and I think both sets of fans know what they’re going to get. In 18/19 he played 34 PL games out of 38 (23 starting and 11 sub). Was probably he best run in the side, 4 goals, 1 assist.

Finishing top 6 twice in a row doesn't make you an Established top 6 side. Arsenal did it 24 time in a row, 24 out of the last 26. Chelsea 25 time in the last 27 Spurs 10 out of the last 12.

Ricardo has skill, pace, can defend from the front, has football intelligence (2 assists already this season) and can interchange easily with castagne on that flank. It's not the worst solution.
