Wow how witty and original, perhaps you should throw in a line about playing Championship football next season just to round things off.

sorry,

nothing personal just bored to death with the same type of comments being constantly trotted out on here.

It was funny when we were top 6, but now it's very much a real thing

Leicester, two tables: Kristiansen and Nico Gonzalez

One goal is the full-back and Leicester is not dealing with other players other than Victor Kristiansen, a promising 20-year-old left-back defender of Copenhagen, elected at the end of 2022 as one of the under-21s to keep an eye on in his role by the CIES: in the category "all-band left-back" category he is in seventh in the ranking”

Also says submitted opening offer for Nico of €30mil

Get these 2 done and we’ll be in much better shape

Agree. And if we can clear out some dead wood at the same time, things will look considerably better.

Got it badly wrong on the extent of Alves’ injury but hope he’s right here:

Classic internet ITK work - imply something's happening without ever saying anything definitive so you can boast that you called it if it comes off but give yourself deniability if it doesn't. If we sign him they broke it first, if we don't then they only ever said we'd agreed terms with the club, not player. None of these people know anything.

Come on fellas, we know better than believing twitter accounts. You can pay 8 quid for a blue tick now, so you can at least give the illusion of being a ‘somebody’. These chumps can’t even be arsed to do that!

@lcfcinsiderr has deleted the tweet saying agreement has been reached, full of crap.

Hopefully the deal goes through anyway.

I wonder who thinks spending time tweeting rumours in a vague way is a good use of their time. Pathetic really.

Brendan Rodgers is closing in on a £17 million deal for Victor Kristiansen, the FC Copenhagen defender.

Leicester are set to make their first signing of the January window and ease the growing tension among supporters with the capture of the highly regarded left-back. A deal is expected in the next 48 hours.

Kristiansen, 20, has emerged as a priority target for Leicester this month and is expected to have a medical over the weekend. Leicester want to seal his arrival before Saturday's match against Brighton at King Power Stadium.

A Denmark under-21 international with experience of the Champions League, Kristiansen is regarded as a player with high potential who can make an immediate impact in the Premier League.

FC Copenhagen, the defending Superliga champions, have driven a hard bargain for the youngster and it is understood that the total cost of the deal is about €20 million.

Kristiansen will be the first permanent signing at Leicester since Rodgers’s predecessor, Claude Puel, brought in winger Fousseni Diabate in January 2018.

Leicester have moved for Kristiansen after injuries to full-backs James Justin, who has been ruled out for the season with a ruptured Achilles, and Ricardo Pereira.

Rodgers has been determined to bring in new recruits after four successive league defeats since Leicester’s return after the World Cup.

Negotiations have been ongoing with Fiorentina over a deal for winger Nicolas Gonzalez, while Leicester are also targeting a centre-half.

After the 2-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest on Saturday, Rodgers said: “The board and the people behind the scenes are working hard to try and get in the players we want to help us improve.

“There is money available and I’ve always felt that support. It’s a very competitive league and you have to fight to stay in it, and that’s what we intend to do.”

Leicester are also looking to trim their squad before the window closes, with Ayoze Perez, Jannik Vestergaard, Caglar Soyuncu and Dennis Praet understood to be available.
