coolhandfox Posted 13 January 2023 Posted 13 January 2023 £12m is not too shabby. If we do have the rest of the Fofana money, 45m, around 12m for an LB and 30m for a RW wouldn't leave much for a CB, so the club is going to try and squeeze them the price.
Jakemoore Posted 13 January 2023 Posted 13 January 2023 We need to get a move on. I see no way our season turns around with this current group. They need to refresh which is what BR has been saying (hate to admit that I think he may be at least right on that) 2

We’re a club that ordinarily doesn’t allow leakage on the transfers we’re doing. Brendan has also said the club are working hard to get deals done. It’s not a simple as “here’s some money, we will take him thanks”… January is a difficult window to negotiate in, and it’s likely we’re having to pay in instalments and think about the contracts. 1

Dan Posted 13 January 2023 Posted 13 January 2023 (edited) We'll no doubt haggle over a couple of million, miss out then end up with nobody. Edited 13 January 2023 by Dan LCFC
Hales Posted 13 January 2023 Posted 13 January 2023 Just sign him for goodness sake. Give us some hope that something will happen this transfer window 🙏🙏 1

You can't just keep buying players to injure and replace them with players that aren't broken yet and stockpile injured players.

Everyone we’ve ever been associated with walks away with a contract for at least double what they were earning before even useless time wasters like the Southampton old boys ;that’s where the money went
