We will actually get to see Vardy vs Rooney then...

:vardy:

Only partly tongue in cheek but we don’t play them until 16th December so if he is appointment imminently as expected, don’t bank on him still being in the job by then!

Shabby if they do appoint Rooney

Would love it if a journo asked how he feels about taking someone's job

Multi millionaire Rooney and Eustace who worked his way up from Kidderminster

Also, Birmingham are stupid.

Just looked on their forum, they don't seem that arsed to be honest. Perhaps we're missing something, lots of talk of the people in charge wanting a "no fear" style, rather than overtly defensive which I think he's been quite a bit.

I spoke to a Birmingham fan at work last week and he wanted Eustace to go.

I read somewhere that Eustace was being targeted for the Rangers job.

He’s the bookies favourite so it may be that Birmingham are letting him go.

Where do they belong ?

3 stints in League One since 2000. That's where they belong. Or bottom 8 in the Championship.

Birmingham did look incredibly dull on Friday though. Whether that's Eustace's preferred way of playing or just him getting the best out of the players available I don't know.

I'm not sure Wayne Rooney is the answer to them playing match winning free flowing football though lol

Yeah, because Rooney sacked him and John Eustace is on the dole.

If that's true then why sack him and probably have to pay him rather than getting some money off Rangers for him. Proper weird

He's really highly rated Eustace and won't be short of suitors

He must be livid.

Only in football where you can get sacked for possibly making a club over-achieve.

They are such a poorly run club. They don’t deserve any modicum of success

Us or Birmingham!?

:nono:

You are right - he came with a long term plan but hardly got anything to work with and now gone .

Fans very much fed up now of the owners.

Luca Modric is older than Wayne Rooney.

Mad.

Rooney definitely had a shelf life as a player.

Wouldn't have been as effective if he wasn't built like a young bullock but it also meant that the end was going to be swift and bulky.

By 42 days ?

What’s more shocking is that Rooney started his senior career 3yrs before Modric

Wonder, should Rooney be their manager, if security will be ramped up when BCFC face Leicester..:vardy:

Oh my that is going to be something special. Imagine their fans in full 'grass' chant mode and then Vardy bags a hat-trick.

Well it might not be the manager but we have sacked someone who was only here for a year .

Another waste of money , time and resources.

Have the club considered just putting in a standing order?

Neymar and Rooney both wasted their talent, both had potential to be the best. Yeah sure they obviously still had fantastic careers but for their natural ability it wasn’t maximised.
