Dream Saturday, Ipswich concede a shock early goal against Huddersfield. A second goes in silencing the fans.

News spreads around Elland Road and the players respond putting them one up and on the brink of pipping Ipswich to the autos.

Ipswich concede a third as Huddersfield run riot. Leeds fans celebrate as the game enters stoppage time.

90+3, Southampton equaliser.

nvm

Just seen we’re not one of Sky’s 3 live matches on Saturday...The Ipswich and Leeds games obvious choices and Birmingham v Norwich the third ....not sure if others are on the red button. If not bad news for those of us who won’t be there as will mean looking for dodgy stream to see the Tifo , match and presentation

two east midlands?  Who?  Hope you don't mean Forest... we're trading places with them!

Luton haven't done their nuts but have done themselves proud and haven't been battered that often.

Spending stupid money doesn't always work but having a good work ethic and a bit of togetherness can go along way as we found out not so long ago

Ipswich have a brilliant manager and excellent recruitment, which are the two most crucial elements, on top of the team spirit factor. They've bought and loaned well without spending much in the past few windows. Turning cast offs like Hirst into successes, and their recent January signings have got 15 goals combined. And when they get promoted, they'll have tons of money to spend on smart upgrades, and are likely to keep most/all their good loanees.

A good manager and recruitment are both things that Leeds and Southampton don't have.. I think ours is OK currently, but we have the additional handicap of the point deduction/forced sales/limited buying funds.

Had a bit of a sick feeling watching that Cov-Ipswich game just now, which I think is my gut feeling that Ipswich could finish above us next season and send us down. Hope I'm wrong :dunno:

Nah, Leeds win comfortably, Ipswich are 1 down going into stoppage time, which is 15 minutes due to another referee injury. Leeds fans invade the pitch, they think they're up but wait, Jeremy Sarmiento has taken a shot in the 90+14 minute, it's hit a stray squirrel that got onto the pitch and looped over the Huddersfield keeper to send Ipswich up.

Surely a quintuple deflection, plus hitting the bar and then the goalie’s backside?

For those who dont know the EFL actually took action for all the lopsided coverage of Leeds this season, the next TV deal as part of the contract will enforce more equitable coverage.

Kind of goes to show it is indeed possible to change it, the EPL will of course keep their lopsided coverage as a mutual back scratching.

Is this true? That is quite something if so! The EPL is far more brand/money centric so it is unsurprising that those with the biggest following get the most air time. Even if it is totally disagreeable.

1-1-8

Seems strange to go to a game with your clubs form on your t-shirt. Especially when it's that bad
