VLC86 Posted 23 July 2023 Posted 23 July 2023 He’s constantly crocked, would give us a decision to make.
Solihullfox Posted 23 July 2023 Posted 23 July 2023 Had enough now, just smash the club apart why don’t you.
Popular Post Jaspa Posted 23 July 2023 Popular Post Posted 23 July 2023 I'm concerned to be relying on him in this League, 2 games a week on some raggedy pitches while playing physical football? Not exactly the best environment for a player fraught with serious injuries for almost 4yrs. If the money is on the table and we have the players in place to get by, I'd let him go. 5
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 23 July 2023 Posted 23 July 2023 Would be strange to let him go if it’s just a loan. Seems to have taken on a bit more of an elder statesman type role in the squad recently and also taking a role tactically that few can fill. I would hope we’d only entertain a permanent departure if Maresca is confident that Justin can play the same role tactically.
longy Posted 23 July 2023 Posted 23 July 2023 If the offer is decent then I say offload. He's genuinely been one of my favourite players at the club since he arrived but his injuries have caused us all sorts of problems. Castagne is absolute guff mind, I'd prefer him out the door before RP. 1
Popular Post EnderbyFox Posted 23 July 2023 Popular Post Posted 23 July 2023 Would be a disaster considering our main tactic seems to revolve around him 16

James_lcfc Posted 23 July 2023 Posted 23 July 2023 Always loved RP, but he is 30 and perpetually injured. Of course the club should be looking to move him on if the deal is right.

Not sure we would be getting him out the door, if we had devised our play around him. Apparently he is eager to go, it does not add up.
moore_94 Posted 23 July 2023 Posted 23 July 2023 Would be absolutely stupid to let him go on loan, especially when he seems to be a very key part for how Enzo wants us to play 1
FoxesWalk Posted 23 July 2023 Posted 23 July 2023 Keeping him at this level (and keeping him fit) would be huge. However, given his injury record I would very reluctantly sell if decent money was offered. Loan is pointless.
Lambert09 Posted 23 July 2023 Posted 23 July 2023 what do we get out of the loan exactly? Struggling to see how this would have any legs 2

lee7 Posted 23 July 2023 Posted 23 July 2023 Would be an awful decision to let him go. I'd much prefer Castagne to leave.

They are not short of cash.
