I think Wilfs performance showed how effective the system can be for the 8s rather than Wilf being reborn.

exactly. Casadei would be getting 15 goals minimum

So it's Celtic with no money or the famously lavish spenders of Turkey.

There must be an Italian loan option out there somewhere where we pay 95% of the salary and Juve have the option to sign once the contract is run down.

I am still on the fence with Ndidi.

His injuries I believe we're worse than admitted from within club, came back twice too early even at the time IMO.

Though to be honest  I wouldn't lose sleep if he decides to go..

Would of loved to see if Enzo could of made a box to box player, with KDH,Winks to support..and he could rekindle a Leicester career & push away the memories of that chronic injury crisis he found himself in.

But a letting go from outside and a totally new challenge could well help him...his weekly enthusiasm around team I think should be not forgotten despite private and playing career..

No but what you meant was equally daft.

The Saudis don't really want to try and replace the Premier League, if they did they wouldn't be buying in to it. They can't really place the Premier League, I think even with extreme hubris or intense naivety they'd still have the common sense to appreciate that the "soul" of English football is part of the product. Fans around the world are invested in Liverpool and Anfield, United and Old Trafford, the history, the rivalries, the identities and iconographies of those clubs matter. We might cringe and roll our eyes every time BT Sport roll out the same tired, deluded tropes about how the atmosphere at Anfield is so special but a lot of the international audience laps that shit up.

Nobody's going to care about generic Saudi football club they've never heard of #1 and because nobody is going to care, they aren't going to attract the best sponsorships, they aren't going to attract the best players. There's a reason they're targeting high profile OAPs and mercenaries. Yes, they want to raise the profile of the Saudi league and probably make it the biggest outside of Europe but they're going to be well aware that the "real" products are the Premier League and the Champions League and that's not changing any time soon.

The Chinese (whose economy is vastly greater than Saudi's) tried for all of about 5 minutes before giving up and going back to investing in European football instead.

This has aged badly even quicker than I expected lol

I know he’s been crap for a while now but really surprised he hasn’t moved on yet.

Clubs at the top level want footballers in the middle of the park nowadays.

Pretty sure we're stuck with him now unfortunately.

Swap Ndidi back to Genk for Mike Trésor? Or just Sell or wait to see how he does under Maresca?

So you think we should either swap him ………. or sell him outright  ……… or give him a chance? Thanks for fine-tuning our thinking. 👍😂

Think we are pretty much stuck with all of them now until their contracts run down.

So many players on presumably high wages who interested clubs can't afford.

Wilf valued at £20m, but hasn't written that anywhere in his article?

Id take any fee just to get him off the wage bill. If that is actually a serious valuation from the club then that is hilarious

Noticeable for a country of near 200 million people , sorry make that 230 million , Nigeria 's recent results have been moderate to say the least. Featuring both Wilf and Kelechi. I have a strong feeling both are pretty jaded and need a new challenge - with a new club.

I like Wilf. He isn't what he was but maybe he can play his way back to a high level. He seems a good guy to have around the club.He has really put his routes down here. It is not always as easy as let's ship him out and bring so and so in. They have families, schooling etc to think about. He will be good enough for the Championship.

20 quid more like it...

Take it!!

He was rated at the most valuable player in our squad shortly after joining when we had multiple highly valuable stars…. Unbelievable how much he’s dipped…

I couldn't wish for a return to form to happen to a nicer bloke…

£20m???

Looks like a player in his mid 30s

I forgot he was only 26! He should still have his best years to come. I'd love to see Maresca try to keep him here and get him playing at his best again.

You know how in business, anything under certain fee you dont need approval on... so people can just okay it without getting permission from higher up. I feel like the football equivalent is 10m if you ask for more than that.. a club will do their research and find out that what youre offering is a crock of shite.

I doubt he wants to leave because of his Uni Course and he's settled in the Leicester area.

But I don't think we need both him and Hamza.

If we don't get a good offer for him I'd keep him and see how he does early season. If he does well give him a new Contract.

We could use him at his best in the Championship. I wouldn't be trying to change him as he doesn't have a footballers Brain.

Breaking up play is his forte.
