Chelsea are in for Kudus. If they get Caicedo over the line as well, they’ll be more prepared to let Casadei go.

I think he will be sent out on loan, I’m certain in fact. Chelsea will get one or two more big name CMids in. It’ll just be later in the window

I remember a player (think it was Curtis Davis) saying on the radio that he was on

the way to join us and Svens revolution.

Signed for someone else the next day!

It’s a bit of interest not a science.

Yeah Curtis posted it on Twitter. Got a call mid journey and diverted to Birmingham

Coming on at HT in Chelsea’s friendly against Brighton.

Didn’t realise how big the lad is.

Watching the match as well…he’s a unit for sure. Moves well and put some quality touch on a pass I thought he had no business making.
If Chelsea are run so poorly as to loan him out, we should be so lucky to scoop him up.

Its more that Chelsea cant really afford to take risks with younger players. The pressure and expectation to consistently compete for or win the league is so immense, they require players who are already world-class and fully developed to meet that demand. Also there is added pressure on Pochettino after a poor season last year, If he can't get the team back in the top 4 comfortably then he could face a quick departure.

But i dont really see him signing for us on loan now. I suspect he'd be more inclined to gamble on a Premier League loan, even if it potentially means spending a considerable amount of time on the bench. He will think he is too good for championship unfortunately.

I hate making assumptions from a 45 minute cameo (especially in pre-season) but from last night, couldn’t imagine him getting much of a sniff at Chelsea next season if I’m being honest.

Whether he would come to us if a different matter but surely Chelsea are adding a Caicedo shaped CM very soon so would be even further down the pecking order.

Anyone that is unable to spell the word “Leicester” correctly is almost certainly a weapon

Tbf to him, @Sambiasso may or may not have contacts, I don't know and I take everything said on here at face value. I'm not privvy to the twists and turns of a transfer deal so try not to get my hopes up until I see the official announcement.

The info he has shared hasn't been hugely "insider" and has, for the most part, been speculated elsewhere, or the info has been overly broad. That's not me saying he doesn't get given this info, it just opens him up to doubt. Like many other ITK have found out on FT.

I'm sure he won't lose any sleep over people doubting him.

Looks excellent and I think his 45min cameo might've peaked the interest of some PL or German teams. Its a long shot that he drops into the championship.

Chelsea will be different with Poch in control of on field responsibilities, they will still have the madman controlling everything else and will no doubt be spending x number of millions on trying to get Mbappe but Poch will play the young’uns if he thinks they good enough.

Certainly from his comments about Colwill who won’t be going out on loan or sold if he has his way and will have a big part to play this season & I think that’s despite of the Fofana injury.

What big name sits in the way of Casadei, they actually look light in that central positions now they have sold Mount, Pulisic, Havertz, RLC, as well as the DM’s like Kante he could very much play apart as not sure who they looking at bringing in.

What we need is an indication of where Chelsea view the player being for the upcoming season so we can go after Casadei or move on to another target, quickly !

So our Director of Football who has seen it as a good idea to go to Thailand should be calling the Chelsea DOF (who is probably in London rather than pratting about in the US of A) to find out the necessary info.

Rudders can just drop him a call from Thailand tomorrow morning about 10am, not too early as that’s just rude and talk

Reply from Chelsea DOF “ You do realise you’ve just woken me up, it’s 2am here in London you plank. Now feck off and bother someone else. Don’t ring me again” Disconnects

Rudders “ Right erm I’ll ring Danny Drinkwater, he seems keen and I can tell Top I’ve landed a midfield legend ! “

Poch loves young players, always has, so if anything we have less chance of signing this kid than if another manager was in charge. He's said he wants Colwill and Gallagher to stay and be a part of his rebuild and they've signed young players recently like that guy from villa with the long name, Fofana, etc I can see this kid being part of their squad.

Difference with Gallagher is he has already shown what he can do in the premier League and Colwill has a decent season under his belt and an absolutely terrific showing for the U21's Euro's has only risen his stock even further, which pee's me right off considering we were linked with him last year

Have a feeling Poch will want to keep him at the club, at least until the January window. He seems a real talent and Poch loves to use youth players when possible.

Chelsea are short in CM. But if Chelsea get Kudus and Caicedo, Casadei isn't going to get much game time at all with them.

Add these two to Fernández, Gallagher and Chukwuemeka and they'll have enough in CM/AM, so there might be a chance. But would we wait that long into the window?

Different though playing for a team who expect to be towards the top of the championship than playing for Reading who were utter guff and got relegated. People talk about the gulf in class between championship and Premier league, there is also a gulf between the top and bottom of the championship.

Agree with this, and think Chelsea should be keen that if he goes, he goes to a team that dominates possession.

Dont disagree. Kudus for listening to our valuation of one of Fofana's legs and paying for only half of him being able to play. I wonder if we have the other knee on display at Seagrave

I’d snap their hands off for that if I were Chelsea.

Agreed but I think he'd be quite good for West Ham. They rely on their midfielders covering a lot of ground, Soucek was famous for it before going off the boil. Could be one of those that works out for all parties involved.

Difficult to say he's worth 40m, but was Rice worth 105m? It's all relative really.
