I read their report the other day. The author of that report also claimed we were on a 17 game unbeaten run lol

It now says "Leicester City beat Watford at Vicarage Road as the Championship leaders extended their fine run to just one defeat in 17 games, in all competitions"

I've lived in different parts of the country and met plenty of awful folk who support other teams. Yes, we have them too (and in significant numbers unfortunately) but no different to other teams' fan bases. Luckily there are decent, observant, intelligent fans out there too. We may come across one some day...

Funny thing is that you will have loads of them reading this, agreeing with you, completely oblivious that they are in fact, at heart, and absolutely ignorant, unintelligent idiot!

(Ironically, my own post has got me wondering if I am one.)

I believe this is essentially the Dunning-Kruger effect (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning–Kruger_effect) i.e. people with low ability in a specific area tend to give overly positive assessments of their ability. Doesn't help the next time someone behind you is shouting "ffs, hit it long".

Sidenote: I learnt about this 5mins ago in response to a Google for "Do stupid people know they're stupid".

Love that this thread has now become one of self-reflection and Wundtian introspection.

It gives us all hope.
