Reminded me of the designs that were going around for Chelsea using Battersea power station. I personally think that would've been amazing.

Ahhh yes the battersea one, does look similiar.  I think it could come off as really tacky though.

The first-ever sticker collection to feature players from all 72 clubs across the Championship, League One and League Two has been launched.

The album - the first collaboration between the English Football League and Panini in more than 20 years - was unveiled at the National Football Museum in Manchester.

Current players, including Doncaster striker Billy Sharp, Chesterfield forward and former Northern Ireland international Will Grigg and Blackburn skipper Todd Cantwell, along with EFL icons such as Curtis Davies, Clinton Morrison and Adebayo Akinfenwa joined representatives of EFL clubs as the new sticker album was put on display.

The collection contains 788 stickers featuring stats and facts on each team, rare Elite and Key Player stickers, fabric kits, and, of course, the iconic 'shinies' - depicting club badges and team captains.

It will be stocked in more than 8,000 retailers around the country including major supermarkets and independent stores close to EFL stadiums.

Katie Gritt, head of sport marketing at Panini, said: "Including players from all 72 clubs for the first time, for many fans this will be the first time they can collect stickers of players from the clubs they love.

"The collection celebrates the incredible talent across the EFL as well as legends of the game."

Ben Wright, chief commercial officer at the EFL, added: "Football is all about passion, memories and moments that bring fans together.

"This first-ever sticker album featuring all 72 clubs is special. It celebrates the legends who shaped our game and the current players and managers who make the Championship, League One and League Two so exciting today."

Sold out on Panini's website already.

Really?  Looks nothing like it.

I think the birmingham one looks really tacky.

I meant reminded as in, it was something a bit different and a nod to/ use of local architecture. Not that they looked particularly similar.

Birmingham stadium looks like it'll be iconic, but if it actually turns out as good as that I'd be surprised.

It'll just look so glum on a non-match day.

Can't deny it's not different though!

This is true. On a miserable afternoon in January it won’t be the best. All very well doing the renders with the nice lighting on a night game.

It'll still be in Bordesley Green.

Funny, I thought the only thing on the rise in that region was rubbish on the streets…

I think that is a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black!!

I'd be surprised if this Birmingham City stadium actually happens, especially when the club aren't even in the premier league. The idea of talking about building a 60,000 stadium and your not in the top flight and haven't been there for over 10 years is just laughable.

They are simply using Birmingham to get an NFL side over here.

When you realise that Wagner and Brady own a stake in the most moved around NFL franchise it begins to make sense.

It's not 62k for Birmingham City, but they need the club, fans, and local government support to be able to get this stadium built.

Birmingham fans naturally lapping it up, so it'll be interesting to see what happens when they realise what's going on.

Looks like the designer popped out of his studio to grab a brew, and his pesky prepubescent school boy graffiting son snuck in and started drawing c*cks all over his dads designs before hitting send on the email.

"Keen not to be outdone, Evangelos Marinakis has announced that, instead of redeveloping the City Ground, Nottingham Forest will build a new stadium incorporating the cooling towers of the former Ratcliffe-on-Soar power station."

Birmingham stadium looks shit.

Guarantee those towers are the brainchild of those in charge and they are insistent on them - no architects are doing that without more or less being forced to.

Birmingham certainly being bold and ambitious with their new ground plans but will it actually happen ?

Are you a Watford fan on a Leicester forum asking about Birmingham?

Don't give them any ideas!

Actually, maybe they should ;) :D

Birmingham showing some ambition, good for them. It's better then winning the league and having one of the top teams in Britain, and still sitting around doing nothing.
