Scotch Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 I really am start8ng to worry that we will sell absolutely anyone we can and sign no one. 2
Popular Post Freeman's Wharfer Posted 11 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 11 August 2025 Simple discussion for Rudkin on how the release clause is paid. ”It’s a release clause, you pay it all up front and we have no choice other than to let the player go” Anything outside of that, don’t even respond to the call. 6

adejo92 Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 HMS Piss the league currently being weighed in for scrap. 1
Tommy Fresh Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 Mental if we even entertain a release clause not being paid up front 2
FoxesWalk Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 You guys not excited about Ayew as a 10 behind Daka then?

Greg2607 Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 Well at least there is the potential for Alves or Monga getting more game time as a 10.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 Off topic but don’t know who gets wound up the most. Going on SkyBluesTalk and accusing them of fabricating a rivalry with us or criticising KP on Leicester City Undivided. 1

dannythefox Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 Need him if we want promotion this year or a good crack at it anyway.
Pliskin Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 This is where it all comes to a head……. Well and truly done, and I bet we won’t spend a penny of it either, because everyone will leave so late in the window we won’t have time to react. 3

funkyrobot Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 (edited) A release clause was possibly the only way ELK would’ve come to us last season, particularly as it happened after Maresca jumped ship. If someone triggers a release clause correctly there’s not much we can do other than hope he chooses to stay. In the short term it might give Page and Alves more opportunities. I have to say I’m surprised Newcastle would be interested, don’t really see his position as a priority for them, particularly with their lack of strikers. Edited 11 August 2025 by funkyrobot
Cropwellfox Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 Was always going to happen and the short sighted bellends in charge have managed to facilitate the fire sale happening way too late for us to react even with decent loan signings. ****ing disgrace after disgrace this ownership. 1
foxfanazer Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 I don't know why everyone's being so dramatic? We've still got Skipp! 2

The other thing is that the PL starts this week, so if it's not a relegation clause (unlikely) then it would also be saying that we need it done before the start of the season
