kingfox Posted Tuesday at 21:41 Posted Tuesday at 21:41 Very much looking forward to signing Gavin Bazunu on a 5 year deal. 1 1
filbertway Posted Tuesday at 21:41 Posted Tuesday at 21:41 Clinging onto the feeling that GLC's man in the inside seems to have about as much knowledge of inside running of the club as ramadaone.

It’s nailed on it’s Martin these rumours of Burnley being interested was just to speed up Rudkin to offer him the dosh.
adam Posted Tuesday at 21:50 Posted Tuesday at 21:50 A lot of fans couldn't stomach watching us under Enzo when we won the ****ing league. This clown has no chance. Got my lad a season ticket for the first time this year too, gonna be a tough job trying to keep him interested with this bloke in charge. 1
Tiny earl Posted Tuesday at 21:54 Posted Tuesday at 21:54 Look forward to the introduction of his legendary snake oil in the club shop.

Have a look at some of the Facebook stuff. Anyone that disagrees with the son of Vichai gets ridiculed. Most fans don't comment on social's and I've just had shrugged shoulders when I've spoken to some other fans. We all saw the apathy during the recent protests. Not enough care and will go along with anything relating to King Power. 2 1 1
LCFCCKEANO Posted Tuesday at 22:08 Posted Tuesday at 22:08 His sides tend to score a lot(and concede a tonne too) so at least it’ll be high scoring I guess
st albans fox Posted Tuesday at 22:09 Posted Tuesday at 22:09 Probably selling Nelson to finance brusell’s wages …..

Sadly in our case May/June is when Rudkin seems to take his yearly holiday which is why we are always so unprepared.  Do you think perhaps he’s done all that before he went away? Can’t officially sign players yet anyway.  I’m not  saying he does a good job, or that I appreciate any of his decision making , but I can tell you he does work hard.

Popular Post Tielemans63 Posted Wednesday at 05:38 Popular Post Posted Wednesday at 05:38 Everytime you think it can't possibly get any worse, Top and Jon find a way. This will be a disaster. It's already a disaster in terms of reuniting the fan base. It will be an absolutely laughable move if it happens. 15

MGLCFC Posted Wednesday at 06:02 Posted Wednesday at 06:02 It's bad enough that they are trying to persuade Martin to be manager, but I bet he's been tempted by silly wages and a promise of a squad rebuild. If he's gullible enough to know these promises are unlikely to be met, then more the fool him. Or it could be that he sees it as another good pay day. Martin is likely to be appointed with insufficient funds to rebuild the squad and we're left with a set of players incapable of playing possession based football adequately. Mid table mediocracy awaits. 1

teblin Posted Wednesday at 06:41 Posted Wednesday at 06:41 I'm really not sure on the appointment. To say the least.  However, it would be nice to have the slightest bit of positivity around the football club. There must be some good points to appointing Martin. The Southampton correspondent said the players seemed to really like him, but evidence elsewhere show that isnt always the case.  So, any footballing positives on the appointment?  1

We needed to move away from pass for passing sake football, and this was a good time to reset that. But alas the club have shot themselves in the foot.  Like @ClaphamFox has said, I don't think we'll get relegated again under him unless we hit AdministrationÂ

That makes me think that we are getting more of the same.  I have supported this club for a long time and this period of time under Top is the most disappointing and depressing.  All we get is rumours of mangers and player sales. Surely you need a manager to decide or at least have an input into the squad, which includes sales.  I suppose we are not wanting to add another salary until we absolutely have to. 3

StanSP Posted Wednesday at 07:24 Posted Wednesday at 07:24 Gonna go out on a limb here and say he probably will get us out of the league but there's a few caveats/things to note:  - it's not an appointment planning for the future - it doesn't mean it's a good one - it won't be pretty. Having spoken to Southampton and Rangers fans, it's not going to be an exciting way of going up - it further emphasises the lack of direction and strategy and vision from the club to adapt. Possession football in his style isn't the way forward. It's not a novelty any more and too many sides know how to combat it. - the club still clearly don't give a shit what fans think; every man and his dog know Martin is not a legitimately positive appointment. - what do we do with him when we go up? He's not succeeded at this level and seems to be universally disliked because of how he plays his football, or due to his 'philosophy'.   I can't say I've paid much attention to his recruitment but he's nowhere near the first person I'd look to to be in charge of a rebuild at what is such a crucial time for our club. 2
