Not even seen any of his apparent needle. Very disappointing. Like a candle without a wick or a stapler that is constantly jamming but you never throw it away.

It was quite laughable, the last minute we really had a go , yep the the last minute of injury time

This is why we ain’t getting promoted, the manager hasn’t got a clue on motivation or  tactics

Fed up of the same old boring shit football

I wonder how many fans of clubs Martin has managed have said that over the years

i called for him to go the other week ffs  after the oxford game(ive gone back on that, to give him least 10 games either way)

im by no means saying keep him, im not saying get rid,

as I said we could get pep and some of our fans would moan, could get Challinor and some would moan,

no matter who we get theyd moan

So frustrating. We just keep finding ways to fail to win games.

We were in so much control today that complacency definitely crept in, resulting in the kind of sloppiness that led to their goal and some other loose passes which gifted other good opportunities on the counter to Barnsley.

What is worse is that Barnsley were so open and there for the taking - even with 10 men they were playing a suicidal high line. In the second half we had endless occasions when we had 3 on 3, or even 4 on 3, breaks, but the decision making in the final third was abysmal.

Will we ever again be able to churn out routine, no-fuss wins?

So positive at half time, leading against ten men playing some decent football. The second half we created some decent opportunities but had no end product and once again poor defending lead to us conceding again and come away just with one bloody point. That bit of quality in certain moments we win this match 3 to 4-1. Instead left looking like mugs. Maybe we are close to finding that winning formula, if that defence can sort itself out then who knows.

Not sure i am quite ready for such a well rounded post.

Hmm, why do the fans moan when we’re on our third season of a never ending losing streak, relegated twice in a row, and stinking up League One with a manager nobody wants 🤔

4 shots only 1 on target. Just had no end production today. He played 86 mins, most of them against 10 men and didn't score or really bother the keeper. He wasn't exactly lighting things on fire.

I agree, but Alves was our best player forward, Riis nullified today too.

It’s very frustrating but with better final balls and better finishing that ends up 4 or 5-1. We needed Riis to be on the end of a couple of the chances we had and not the likes of Luke Thomas.

I keep thinking when it clicks we’ll batter someone and really kick on but I’m just not entirely convinced that it’s ever going to happen.

It happened as soon as we scored. We started taking it easy although we did some good moves and created some decent openings. We were too slow in build up most of the time. Back to the days with Faes standing over the ball slowing it down. We should have pushed on and put the game to bed. I still don’t like that suicide ball at the back but there were some signs of improvement in some ways cancelled out by lack of urgency and intent.

This was as bad as the Oxford result for me. 1-0 up against a very poor side with a terrible home record and down to 10. Still can’t get a win and could easily have lost it at the end.

One thing that did make me laugh was a Barnsley fan claiming our team was £100m lol

Just the 5 academy lads & 2 free transfers in the starting 11

The fans turned way before the final whistle.

A different fan base - and the team get the result over the line.

He also hasn't got a clue on anything, including dress sense. We all knew this when he was in the running. Why on earth don't those in charge of appointing a manager of our football club listen? We (almost all) saw the abject failure of his tenure at previous clubs. He's just not the right fit and last weeks near defeat and today's failure to take advantage of a weakened, already poor, Barnsley team is shameful.

Even RVN had a positivity. This man is just a puff in the wind and has nothing to redeem him. He's in management to prove his system is the way forward and to boost his own ego. He will be an utter failure again and we are going to be the proof and pay the price of his abject self obsessed philosophy.

Ultimately he would  be binned by even those clubs below us if that's where his career path goes, and I think it will.

He has nothing. He will finish any career he has left as a manager in a minor league club.

We're so broken as a club. Hate some players, hate the manager, hate the DoF or whatever he is now, hate the owner. There is a lot of hate which isn't great for us.

Not sure we're getting out of this league.

We should have been 0-3 up at half time, I guess it depends how you look at it, but I was fuming at half time, because I could see what was going to happen.

It was the fact that we’re what, six games in? and Martin has yet to learn anything about this squad……. I still maintain the good football is more instinctive than coached.

We’re not going to progress as a club until we’ve been purchased.

Its annoying - but its time for calm heads.

No knee-jerk decisions.

We're only 6 points off top & 5 points off autos.

Can't you see we're are struggling against poor sides.

This is self inflicted.  We have the squad to piss this.  We have an idiot in charge
