As they go more narrow we have limited height and numbers in the box. 
 

I guess we can’t do much about height when two of your biggest players were bombed out from the squad or sat on the bench. 
 

I don’t think RM will consistently get enough out of this team playing they way he does to get us promised automatically.

A manager masterclass on how to make you're team worse.  His subs were baffling and horrendous. Coulibaly, Watson and Burns, my god how utterly shite are they!  I could go on, but I just can't be arsed!!

We actually scored a goal by moving the ball fast from defence 

to attack, then conceded a goal by back and sideways passing resulting in giving away the ball in our own half 

What doesn't Martin understand,  he needs a career move quickly.

Faes also made two mistakes that lead to two pretty clear cut chances for them in this game. If RM thinks hes the kinda CB you need in this system hes absolutely mad.

Absolutely, that 2nd half was genuinely awful, like I say it wasnt just a case of we need to take our chances, we gave them many opportunities to win it, all of them because of the style of play. 

 

The most annoying thing is he did this at Rangers, Southampton and Swansea. Im just sat here like "what did we think was gonna happen, how much evidence did we need" and then I remember who owns the club.

He literally can't/won't.  Did you not get the significance of him taking a striker off for a striker/like for like subs when we were 3-0 down at Oxford?

 

That was him fully showing that he'd rather treat the rest of a competitive game as a training match than adapt anything and throw the kitchen sink at them.

 

I don't think there's another manager in the world that doesn't throw the kitchen sink at them there, probably not even Brendan, so we've managed to find the one manager more stubborn than him.

Today was the most favourable in game conditions to get 3 points, a clean sheet and a menacing and dominant performance and we serve up that 😂😂😂😂

 

Every sub was utterly horrific. We really do just stink of a team that will stop at nothing to ensure we don't win.

 

Anyway, I refuse to let this mob ruin my weekend any longer. Thankfully now 3 weeks of utter paradise - the international break.

Alves and Braybrooke should have put the game to bed in the first half. Alves may have been energetic on the ball, but he offered nothing. Should have been hooked at half time.

There is a time and place to play out from the back. Seems to be the only option we employ. We need alternatives like playing a long ball over the top if it's on or upto Riis who looks like he can hold the ball up. Teams know that's all we do and press us which results in mistakes. Need a plan B sometimes
