We win that game if the defenders and keeper when under pressure hit the corner flags and regroup. I like good football, our goal was lovely, but there is a halfway house and we’d have at least six more points if we played it.

 I want Martin to learn/ change and succeed, his summary of games is spot on, other than overplaying at the back which he never mentions strangely!

If I had to mention a positive I thought Aluko did really well and did a good job against their LW who’s a handful. 
 

Coulibaly looked like a competition winner in comparison.

Yeah I agree, he missed a good chance but I feel he made up for it with everything else. He looked dangerous every time he was on the ball. Our attacking play is generally good it's the kamikaze defending that's the issue.

I watched on Sky, so wasn't there but watching on TV the fans are behind the team.

Very torn at the end. I did boo. I was furious with some of those players. But the 3 academy lads didn’t deserve that, and I felt bad for them at the very end.

The amount of times there was a simple long ball on with a player in so much space but we just refused to use it.

Second half minus the goal for them was a repeat of the MK Dons game. We are shite in front of goal

The Oxford match was an anomoly. This was the norm, a struggle to a result when notionally in control of a game. Just completely underwhelming.

This is 100% a huge problem for us. We're getting into some really promising positions but a lot of our shots are tame and/or erratic and we often make some strange decisions.

 

On one occasion, Alves had multiple players to put through on goal but held on to it and then had a poor effort.

 

Then the ball fell to Riis who I thought could have whacked it first time but he took a touch and ended up passing it out wide.

 

I think we'll click at some point but it's currently very frustrating.

4 shots only 1 on target. Just had no end production today. He played 86 mins, most of them against 10 men and didn't score or really bother the keeper. He wasn't exactly lighting things on fire.
