These "Combined XIs" whenever there's a game between two big teams. Who cares

X2 when some bellend like Garth Crooks does a 2-4-5 formation with no keeper and Sadio Mane in defence.

Sky Sports do this as a content filler on their website and usually get Thommo or Charlie Nicholas to put together a Liverpool- Man United XI and, remarkably, Thommo chooses eight Liverpool players.

moving house and cancelling bills and all that. fu cking hell c unts like energy suppliers etc make it hard work to tell them to just fu ck off cos you don't need their services anymore.

tv licence, too. and council tax. why is there not an option to just cancel the bills? I don't need a tv licence anymore cos i'm moving into a house that's got one and there is literally no option to cancel your account, no email contact, no live chat or anything. council tax is the same. and they all keep charging me even though I left 3 weeks ago.

blurts.

It's a good point - I wonder if there's an opportunity for someone to create a one stop moving house package, where all your bills, services, etc are cancelled or transferred, post redirected and so on.

DVLA are the same, impossible to contact

"wHy ArEn't We COuNteRAtTacKinG aNymOrE!?", its not like we have many opportunities to, we still play the early ball to Vardy if we can but we don't get the space to do so very often. It depends on the opposition, it's almost as if 2016/17 didn't happen.

Stuff like this, pundits saying mental fatigue exists and that we peasants don't understand about it. Guarantee most on this forum have had more mental fatigue than she has.

If Alex Scott wasn't female or black she'd be nowhere near TV. Absolutely clueless

People still buying things from Sports Direct.

Can't think of another company that has a poorer reputation than them at the moment.

Went to exchange some football socks for my boy as the size sold to me were too big. The socks I got were £1 cheaper and the sods gave me a credit note. Would have expected just the quid back.

Or last year. It's been 2 years since the title win and sides are showing us a lot more respect, setting up first to counter the threats we pose - even Liverpool trying to find more defensive support from their midfield, and we've needed to evolve to respond to that for too long. Big Nige was right when he said this fanbase has delusions of grandeur

Everybody checks their  phone on a night out but people who do it mid conversation can get it the bin. If your phone beebs just leave it a bit. 99.9% of the time it will be bullshit anyway.

I know social media groans aren't always welcome on here, but the newest one from utter begs looking for the NUMBERS is so frustrating.

"settle a debate, what is it... RT for Cob, like for Roll."

"Let's find out for sure... RT for chip butty, like for bread roll with fried potatoes"

"The definitive answer... RT for Lampard, like for Gerrard"

They conveniently lose the ability to use a poll to discover the results for this. Amazing that they only use the method that will ensue they get 30,000 RTs and 12,300 likes.

A511 being resurfaced, Anstey Lane Closed, 40mph Average Speed Camera's on the A50, No access from the A50 to Copt Oak due to bridge work.

It seems that the City and County Council have conspired to make my daily commute as miserable as possible. :S

It's not like they could have done any of this in the summer is it ?

the ones that are really pissing me off (on Facebook) are posts like 'tag a friend who's name begins with [letter]. The first name that comes up has to buy you something within 5 minutes'.

They do the rounds so often too, especially the regional word for a cob or whatever - not sure why people get so wound up by dialects. By extension, you could say it's like getting annoyed people in France speak French
