That team number debate. This is the correct version...

1 - Goal-keeper

2 - Right-back

3 - Left-back

4 & 5 - Centre-backs

6 - defensive-minded midfielder

7 - Right winger

8 - forward-minded midfielder

9 & 10 - Strikers

11 - Left winger

Change 4 with 6 and you're right

"It's a results based business" - I would think most, if not all, businesses are results based, aren't they?

When people create threads for posts which would obviously fit into a thread that's already open and right near the top of the forum. Just screams that the OP thinks their opinions are more worthy than others to me.

Yep. I don't wish to play gatekeeper, but sometimes it's fun to pull them up on it with sardonic retort for this very reason.

There are some posters on here who are consistently doing it.

The "[insert club] fan coming in peace" opening gambit.

It's glib. Meaningless. By the very content of someone's post we can tell whether they're "in peace" or they're here to troll.

And Facebook comments ending their points stating "...from a [insert club] fan!"

What? You could be a f**king ceiling fan for all I care.

I guess that just makes people feel like it qualifies their shit opinion.

Bit like the 'as a mother' brigade.

Chris Woods.

Theres a bloke near me who seems to take enjoyment out of mispronouncing names or just giving them entirely new names.

Like our new midfielder "Talisman" and our former Algerian striker "Salami".

Fuuuuucking hell that "as a mother" thing winds me right up. As if having given birth qualifies you as anything

"As someone who had a belting shit this morning"... That means just as much in the grand scheme of things.

Foie gras. Which is pretty much a dish prepared with duck liver. "What is so bad about Foie gras" you ask? Well it's the Liver of a Duck/goose that's been force fed in a less than gentle way to put it lightly.

"the animal welfare concerns about force-feeding, intensive housing and husbandry, and enlarging the liver to 10 times its usual volume. "

such a shame that people would choose to eat this "delicacy" without considering how inhuman their food is "produced "

100% agree. Every meat product on sale should carry details and photos of both the terrible suffering the creature endured before its short life was ended and the sadistic method of its termination. Because the public never sees the reality of factory farming, many are in denial about how horrible is it for the animals involved. Consumers of such products are indirectly responsible for animal abuse imo.
