lgfualol Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 There are many things wrong with what they said. One thing for me though, do they think we're just going to roll up in the Premier League without strengthening the squad?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 we weren't even full strength from what I remember...
Agent Fox Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Man City fans are quality, it's nice to read that we are held in high regard.
Mickyblueeyes Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Schmeichel 2 de Laet 3 Konchesky 7 Hammond 27 Wasilewski 23 Miquel 8 James 10 King (substituted for Dyer at 68 minutes') 9 Vardy (substituted for Waghorn at 80 minutes') 24 Knockaert 15 Schlupp (substituted for Nugent at 68 minutes') The stoke fans are going to get an almighty shock when we show up at the Britiannia with Mahrez, Drinky, Moore, Vardy, Wood, Nugent (starting), Morgan and a few new additions. The fact the aforementioned names were missing from the starting eleven and all they could do to a championship "b" team is pick up a 2-1 win which they were hanging on to towards the end, does not bode well for them!
Out Foxed Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 we weren't even full strength from what I remember... it was basically a b team and a new formation

Steven Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Stoke http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/228958/leicester To paraphrase a poster on there. "I am only interested in celebrating our promotion in a selfish egotistical provocative manner bordering on the clinically insane ...."
Carl the Llama Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26838116 You hear talk about the importance of pre-season and the fact the club have just hosted a seminar on injury prevention attended by the Football Association and most Premier League clubs tells its own story I hope Fawaz had a guy in attendance.
Deucalion Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26838116 I hope Fawaz had a guy in attendance. Just read that...well researched and a good read.
jonthefox Posted 6 April 2014 Author Posted 6 April 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26838116 I hope Fawaz had a guy in attendance. Ryan Watson?.
lgfualol Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 We were on the front page of the Sun today, it's probably the only time I've looked at any other page than 3. I guess their sales demographic is mostly people from Thurmaston.
promised land Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Ryan Watson?. Development squad player I think.
Fox92 Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Stoke http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/228958/leicester I went to a house party last week, met a couple of Stoke fans. Referred to Leicester as "scum", I was in shock!

Bilo Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 http://www.forestforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=40708&page=2 Surprising lack of bitterness and racism here. Just the one imbecile spouting the usual 'not our rivals' nonsense. Good for them really.

BoyJones Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 A good read on the Forest / Stoke forums, just goes to show that most fans are decent sorts and despite rivalries acknowledge when another team has done well. I save all my energies supporting City and don't waste time hating or slagging off other teams - so I would be very happy to see more midland teams in the Premier League - so good luck Forest next season, hopefully Psycho is the man. (Work in Nottingham surrounded by Forest and one County fan, all good lads, so this is a genuine post!) 1

Banning anyone who disagrees with the prevailing viewpoint. Banned me after one polite post, and wouldn't respond when I asked why. Pr!cks.

casablancas Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 I went to a house party last week, met a couple of Stoke fans. Referred to Leicester as "scum", I was in shock! I live in stoke. They fricking hate us. Just no one seems to know why.
dayday Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 I live in stoke. They fricking hate us. Just no one seems to know why. Might have something to do with play offs in the mid-nineties
Vlad the Fox Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Might have something to do with play offs in the mid-nineties Great night, cracking away end. Outside I can remember my dad telling me to stop grinning as stoke fans were going nuts around us.

Bless 'em - their big-club mentality coupled with the reality of them being the worst club in the area at the moment must have finally floored them in a sea of conflicting emotions.
