Banks Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 I swear I heard that Pochettino can speak English well, he just can't be bothered
ScouseFox Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 I swear I heard that Pochettino can speak English well, he just can't be bothered Pretty sure I saw that he said he can speak English well enough to get through to his players etc but was forever terrified that he'd give an interview in slightly broken English and someone would twist his words because he'd say something slightly wrong. Which is fair because our press are bellends like that.
David Lowe Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 I reckon Sannino will give it a go - he does the written media already but like the new Spurs guy hasn't been confident enough to "talk" in public. I meant at Leicester now Dyer has gone!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 Yellow doesn't suit him, why oh why didn't you have a crack at the big time, Lloyd?
Nick Posted 10 July 2014 Posted 10 July 2014 Why Don't be sad - at least now he has his chicken outfit.
VLC86 Posted 11 July 2014 Posted 11 July 2014 Why Thats horrific but when did he lose an arm? What are they doing to the poor man???
Soar Fox Posted 11 July 2014 Posted 11 July 2014 Horrific lol Fvck sake he's only moved to another club.
VLC86 Posted 11 July 2014 Posted 11 July 2014 Horrific lol Fvck sake he's only moved to another club. Its horrific that hes been there 5 mins and loses an arm, he was here for years and kept all 5 limbs.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 20 July 2014 Posted 20 July 2014 Anyone else miss his name in the squad…. You just get so used to it!
Nalis Posted 20 July 2014 Posted 20 July 2014 He was a big part of reviving us. Sad to see him go but truth be told, he'd be a bit part player for us this coming season. Thanks for the memories Lloyd.
Bryn Posted 20 July 2014 Posted 20 July 2014 Think he'd have been useful but a three year contract at his age is too good to refuse.
Mark_w Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/watfordfc/watfordfcnews/11411117._/ 'Dyer helped Leicester rise from League 1 to the Premier League whilst with the Foxes, who won the Championship title last season. He was offered a one-year contract to remain at the King Power Stadium and accepted that was the club’s policy for players who are 30 or over. However, he was disappointed at a perceived turnaround by Leicester, with 30-year-old Wes Morgan signing a three-year deal at the start of July. Dyer said: “I had six great seasons there and I love the club, I’m not going to sit here now and say I don’t. I achieved a lot. “They offered me a one-year deal which was in line with their policy. I understood that and accepted that, but I look at Leicester and there are lads there who are over 30 but have been offered more than one year. That was disappointing to see them go against their word. “But I am a Watford player and there is no looking back now.”'
NGoloMode Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Wasyl, Konch + GTF signed one year deals. Only Morgan got a 3 year deal but he is club captain.
MPH Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Wasyl, Konch + GTF signed one year deals. Only Morgan got a 3 year deal but he is club captain. How old is Nugent? He got two years...
cc_star Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 I miss Lloyd Missed Dyer today imo Pace gives fullbacks something to think about and helps stop them marauding up the pitch quite so much, could have pushed him onto right & given Baines something else to do during the spell when he & Pienaar were outnumbering de Laet & they scored both their goals. At the very least he works hard tracking back too, something Knockaert forgot about during that spell
STUHILL Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Think Dyer could have been a useful impact sub for us, even in the Prem. Only reason I wasn't complaining at the time as i genuinely thought we would have signed more players over the summer, but as it turns out, we need him right now
