RowlattsFox Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 Well at least we haven't lost on penalties... Just not good enough overall. Ball watching at the back and generally clueless on the ball. Sterling was poor, Barkley did nothing when he came on but I expect everyone will be saying he should have played, Sturridge spent more time on his arse, such a frustrating player. Think we need a fresh and modern manager but no one stands out as a candidate.
Fox92 Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 Don't get how people call that embarrassing. We weren't that bad and they certainly weren't good enough to win that. Just needed a goalscorer in both games but didn't have it We can't even take throw ins correctly.

Phube Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 Makes me nostalgic for a heroic penalty shoot out failiure...
wakeyfox01 Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 Overreaction central. What happened to as long as we have a go I don't care if we get knocked out? We know we're not very good so I don't see why people get so irate when that once again proves to be the case.
Unabomber Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 I felt like sobbing. In all seriousness, I let out a might deep sigh at full time.
DennisNedry Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 Sad thing is Uruguay really aren't very good. They have one very key thing that we don't - a world class player.
Beliall Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 My england shirt is bad luck. Ill be wearing my leicester shirt for the italy games and englands last one.
Leicesterpool Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 Defending was shocking simply let Terry go to early, never found a good replacement for him.
ramadaone Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 Negative manager Assistant manager with no experience of managing And a team full of overpaid wankers who don't look like they give a toss Saves some heartache further down the road To win a World Cup you need a minimum of 6 or 7 world class players and we don't have any at all so shouldn't come as a surprise to any of us that we are on the plane with Spain
Stadt Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 Still don't feel as bad as I did against Watford or Cardiff
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 I'm currently having a crap. I love going for a crap. England are crap
Guest ttfn Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 You can't waste two good chances though You can if Gerrard doesn't back header it to Suarez though. There's blame to be spread equally amongst the team. We were very unlucky today and quite unlucky on Saturday. Rooney did fine today. 9 times out of 10 we'd have had at least a point from these games.
johnny the fox Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 sad thing is.. its only going to get worse unless the FA wake the fook up and do something..

Think we need a fresh and modern manager but no one stands out as a candidate. Well firstly you're wrong, he did more than most people did in the whole game. Secondly of course he should have started, you say he shouldn't because he couldn't drag England from going out to winning the bloody world cup in 25 minutes?
Guest Kopfkino Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 We can't even take throw ins correctly. That is an issue Are you being serious now? England fans are unbelievable sometimes. We were atrocious. Atrocious? Such an overreaction it's untrue. Yes we're poor defensively but yo call the whole performance atrocious is ridiculous
Stuliasz Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 Have we actually underperformed or are Italy and Uruguay better teams?
Vacamion Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 They got every bounce of the ball and refs decision, we didn't. They had Suarez, we didn't. Looks like the season was about 5 games too long for Stevie G, too. Is it bad that I have a primeval urge to start a 1 man riot in Glasgow with my face painted with the cross of St George, bare chested and furious, shouting THESE COLOURS DOOONT RUN!!!
purpleronnie Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 It's a little amusing that the 2 most vilified players in the premiership over recent years Balotelli and Suarez we're the players that effectively knocked us out.
AKCJ Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 Gabriel Clarke is a right miserable bastard. I'd have butted him in I were Jagielka.
RowlattsFox Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 If Italy win tomorrow Italy v Uruguay is a nailed on draw.
