Kelechi Ihenacho’s mother died when he was 14, that’s why he wears #14 and he scored his first ever Premier League hat trick on the 14th of March, Mothers Day.

I thought his preferred number was eight? We faffed around over that when signing him?

I thought he wore no.72 at Manchester City, because 7+2 = 9, the traditional centre forward's number. Maybe this is why he now wears no.14, because 7x2 = 14, which again provides the numbers for 7+2 = 9.

Yeah, the play-off game with Cambridge was the last 5-0 before Newcastle.

We didn't score 5 in a game for 10 years between 2000 (Sunderland) and 2010 (Scunthorpe) which is ludicrous.

Thanks to Of Fossils and Foxes, Gordon Milne is the last to win 5-0 twice v Wolves and Aston Villa.

Nigel 6 - Ipswich 0. 2012.

These stats are always weird. Is it purely 5+ win to nil. Or exactly 5-0. And if it's win by 5+ then nigel did the double that season 6-1 against Huddersfield.

Considering the fatigue we've seen recently and the packed schedule, we don't really give up!

Is this down to Brendan's tactics? we seem to play more controlling in the first half, let the ball do the work, dominate possession get the other team chasing and run them ragged while we conserve our energy. Then we are stronger in the latter parts of the game.

I think it's sensible to suggest this is part of the tactics/plan.

From the BBc

Leicester City have reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup for the first time since 1981-82 - they had lost five consecutive FA Cup quarter-final matches before today.

Manchester United have lost an away match against English opposition for the first time in 30 matches, with the previous such defeat coming against Liverpool in January 2020.

This was Leicester's first victory in 14 attempts against Manchester United, since beating them 5-3 in a Premier League match in September 2014.

Leicester City have beaten both Manchester United and Manchester City in a single campaign for the first time since 1975-76.

Brendan Rodgers took charge of his 100th match as Leicester manager, earning his 53rd win; his 53% win rate as Leicester boss is his best for any English side.

Since the start of last season, Mason Greenwood has scored 22 goals in all competitions, the most by a teenager for clubs in the top five European leagues over this period.

Kelechi Iheanacho has scored 16 goals in 22 starts in English domestic cup competitions, including 11 in 11 in the FA Cup.

Kelechi Iheanacho has scored 13 goals in 18 FA Cup games, the most of any player in the competition since making his debut in January 2016.

How did they leave out that this is the first time we have ever knocked Man Utd out of the FA Cup???

We've had 4 players score double figures this season. Anyone know if this has happened before?

If Youri keeps up his average, he could very well reach 10 also, making it five :)
