Silva making all the statements but not either club, its obvious he wants to come here (as does Slimani), im glad window closes wednesday because otherwise this would drag on and on as it seems Sporting in financial difficulty and attempting to squeeze every penny we will pay ,but seems Top is there so im confident

After doing some research on line, this guy sounds more like a Danny Drinkwater rather than a Mendy/Amartey, in terms of their playing style.

Wheres he he going to fit into our 4-4-1-1 system?

If this double signing does go through, will it be better than the Ormondroyd & Gee deal ????? ;)

Yes, because we won't lose Kitson (the hottest property in football and the next big thing)

With Slimani and silva a 433 will be a good option in my opinion... plus we have a lot of games, I don't want to say it but what if the unthinkable happened and Drinky picks up a knock...

Hi,

I'm a Sporting Portugal fan, who registered here to follow up the Adrien Silva negotiations.

Sorry for my english for it's not my native language.

I can tell that Adrien Silva is the engine of Sporting's midfield. He's a tireless box-to-box, skillful and with a good long distance shot. He's a flawless penalty taker, and one of the Portugal midfield key players.

It's hard to see Slimani, Adrien and João Mario go in an week timespan. Adrien was in Sporting since his 12 years old, it's our captain, and loved by the supporters.

The 25M€ bid is a bargain for a player like this.

Vardy and Marhez arent interested in just getting out of the group other wise they could have become gooners.

Yeah we have a team of winners so they will be looking to go all the way. Don Claudio will probably say through the group. Then each game as it comes. Leicester in the knockout stage of the champions league would be a massive achievement as is being in the competition so it's going to be a heck of a ride that's for sure.

Imagine - us going for a Portugal international from Sporting. lol

(Ok, let's disregard Ricardo)

I expect a rather heavy and long 48 hours still to come. Don't you love deadline day?
