I hate to say it, but Christian Fuchs has had the anti Midas touch so far. I love the guy, but it is just not working out for him. Defensively, he is getting done, and offensively, nothing is coming off. Hope it picks up for him 2nd half. COYB

Webbo Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 It seems like Mahrez is playing up front and Okazaki in the hole. I think if those chances in the box for Mahrez had fell to Okazki he'd have scored. Ought to swap them around for at least a short while.

We've not been great but looked solid, players look up for it and have been mostly neat and tidy. The fullbacks look exposed when they get wide but we're bossing it in the middle. Kingy and Mendy looking solid if unspectacular. Defo 3 points for the taking here though. Really hope Ranners goes for it second half.

lee7 Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 Ulloa is so bad at dribbling. Almost every time he runs with it he over runs it and ends up getting in a tangle of legs with an opposing player! It's infuriating to watch. The performance has been poor from everyone first half. The passing is woeful. Why on earth we are trying tight intricate passes when the midfield is packed is beyond me. Ranieri needs to open this up and change something to allow us more space and time on the ball.
steflcfc Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 Musa needs to come on upfront/on the wing, if he can't get a game with no vardy or Slimani then why did we buy him? Get pace on and stretch their makeshift defence, why Ranieri didn't see this from the start I don't know! Boro are poor and they have made a lot of changes, they are there for the taking, we have just set up with a bank of 9 and Mahrez having to take on a whole defence.
