[OFFICIAL] Claude Puel is the new manager for Leicester City

Well reading into what the owners just said - seems like he'd done his homework pre-interview, perhaps viewing this in a more positive forward-thinking light he could add another layer of proffesionalism to the club, he gives off that vibe at least. We've got a decent squad all in all - we just seem unable at the moment to encorporate a lot of these decent players into a fully working team, hopefully he has done his homework and has sold the owners with a decent plan that can get us movin, if he hits the ground running we're an outside bet still for a League Cup final at least - so he's got every chance to prove himself here with us.

It's a roll of the dice as there were a few options out there that i felt were stronger candidates - but basically - good luck gaffa :scarf:

If the media is negative then maybe this is actually something good

Yes. That's my thinking. It worked nicely last time. Although I'm not sure he has Claudio's lovability.. I'm behind him (until I'm not)

I just cant stand the thought of playing slow, sideways football anymore. I hope he realises we are a counter-attacking high pressure team with pace.

We haven't been that team since May last year.

I am underwhelmed but it's depressing reading on here, at least give the bloke a chance.

Welcome Claude, now take great pleasure proving what a bunch of fcukin clueless prats our fans are and the media. It's the only key to success at Leicester.

Apparantly his English is poor, if there's a translators job going I offer my services. It's been a few years (since School) but so long as his post match interviews concern the purchase of half a kilo of peaches and the directions to the local swimming pool we'll get along fine.

Reminds me of a cross between Nicholas Dimbleby and a monkey, something about his head shape, to be fair he was a dodgy linesman away from a cup last season.

Seem to remember he signed Redmond as a winger and immediately used him centrally, wonder if he'll see Gray as a potential central striker where he has dabbled a little bit already?

Not exciting but I actually think we could do with a couple of solid, no drama seasons.

**** that.

There's already too much apathy following the title win and Champions League campaign. We need blood and guts. Cup runs. Unexpected wins. Unexpected losses. Europe pushes. Shitty managers and relegation fights. Fire and thunder.

Anything other than floating around 12th and 'being grateful'.

We played like it at the end of last season when Shakey took over. How ****ing awful have we been since we stopped? Talk about sapping the excitement out of a match.

He has fired the Club Blacksmith already, so this should put an end to all the hoofing.  Lets give him a chance please.

This club has become a serious joke, I'm seriously worried about our future, this has to be one of the most uninspired appointments this club has made for quite a while.

His style is the complete opposite of what we're known for, he bored the Southampton fans to tears.

If this somehow works then I'll admit I got it wrong, first thoughts though is this is shite.
