Albrighton not in this game at all, completely misplaced as a central midfielder.

 

We're seeing little of the ball. That's ok, but then we don't make the most of it when we have it. Too many misplaced passes going forward.

Disappointing first half somehow. That goal was a sucker-punch.

That was a proper quality goal. This must be a good game for the neutral, such a shit time to concede, but sure we'll come out fighting after HT

Not enjoying watching Man City outclass us, out-pass us and then go past us.

 

Makes you realise how spoiled we've been by some of our performances against them in recent years.

Can't complain, other than maybe Kompany having a red.

 

We've fed Mahrez so well and he's given us a couple of good runs but he seems blind to Iborra being wide open up front a number of times.

 

Fuchs is there for the taking but Man City have been exploiting the other side. Simpson has survived well until the goal. Mahrez, Simpson standing still as the ball was passed through us.

 

Hope we keep going for it.

It's been coming for about 20 mins.  Have we got anywhere near their goal?  Their goalie hasn't touched the ball yet.

 

A good, well deserved goal.

 

No real criticism of our play really.  We all knew it was going to be like this & if we can avoid a cricket score, we haven't done too bad.  I just don't want us getting our arses kicked & it effecting our confidence.
