Webbo Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 Sometimes you just have to admit you were outclassed. Could have been 5 or 6.
Vacamion Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 Outclassed. If they don’t romp the league, I’m a Dutchman. We put up a brave fight and it would have been easier against 10. Forget it and move on.

ZeGuy Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 I ain't even mad. They were clearly better than us and we didn't park the bus. I like what Puel is doing with this team and can't wait until Silva joins the first team. Top 8 is still on.
SheppyFox Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 I think we looked good, we’d have beaten anyone outside the top 3/4 IMO today.
Dr The Singh Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 They were too good and our plan was only good enough untill they scored.
Aus Fox Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 Didn't play too badly, they are on another planet. The movement off the ball was like nothing I have seen before. I think they will take out the lot this season. better teams than us will have bigger defeats. How the game could have been different though if Komoany had been sent off in the first minute. Charl91 Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 Too good for us. I don't think you can blame tactics, or even the players too much. Literally just too good for us. It's like they were playing Fifa with all the sliders set up to 100.

We came close though they are quite good and we didn’t get much of a look in we can console ourselves that if the ref has done his job properly ...... Guest Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 It could've easily been so different. Top 8 is in our grasp.
justfoxes Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 Could have been worse could have been 0-6 think we played some decent football at times ref was poor as FUCH !! West Ham away next Puell needs to get them back to winning ways !!

dynamark Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 Where the HXXL was Kasper for the second goal. Can someone who was there explain. Long long ball forward into the wide right back area I'm watching NBC expecting him to trot out and clear it watching the screen shot and nowhere to be seen? lgfualol Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 Can't really complain. Best team in the league by far and have about a billion's worth of players on the bench. When we get Silva and hopefully replace Simpson, I think we'll be quite immense.

Merging Cultures Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 Yup you are absolutely right. The fact that this is more of Vardy FC than Leicester FC and that the tactics are made to accomodate him, even if he plays horrible, completely skipped your argument, but apart from that you are right. Can't you see that Slimani doesn't fit current system? Hell even Iheanacho that was great at Man City came here and is playing terrible. Iheanacho will be given the same amount of time to settle as Slim has had. Slm hasn't taken the opportunities when he has had them. The manager needs to be strong with the system and Vardy, and make changes. I am not opposed to that at all. We need a strong bond within the squad, but not at the expense of having to play out of form players. But Slim doesn't have the ability to make it in this league. But it isn't his fault we lost today. I was just pointing out he looked poor when he came on - as was Iheanacho (on the left?!?!?!).
Webbo Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 I thought our back 4 were pretty decent, Wes especially. Gray was anonymous, everything Mahrez tried was snuffed out with ease, Vardy poor, Iborra and N'Didi over run.
spacemunky Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 Coulda/shoulda been a red. Harry hits the post and KdB scores a worldly. No doubt who is the better team, but it wasn't a bad performance.
sm1 Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 I didn't believe the hype surrounding Pep when he came to Man City because he inherited 2 great teams at Barca & Bayern, but the metamorphosis of City from last season is unbelievable. They truely are an outstanding team.
jumbo747 Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 1. We were up against a team playing the best football the I've seen in the EPL. 2. We have a new manager who has yet to find his feet. 3. We have some dead wood we have to clear out, sooner rather than later. 4. Whatever anyone says on here, the boys had a go today and that's good enough for me. 5. Losing 2-0 to the current Man City today was no shame, whether it was at home or away. desertfox2 Posted 18 November 2017 Share Posted 18 November 2017 Don't even know if we would have beaten them if Kompany had been sent off. They are just a different class from anyone at the moment. Could well win the champions league. Frustrating to play against. We just need to write that one off and go win against West Ham.
