For those (like me) that thought Shinji should have started ...   Puel said (in his own sweet way) we need to keep trying different options and rotating as we have a small squad ...   He spoke to Shinji and explained that.   Can't fault the guy to be honest ...    even if I don't understand half the things he's saying ...

That would be the most hilarious conversation, neither Shinji or Puel will be able to understand a word each others saying.

I feel like watching Vardy, Shinji, Puel and Iborra try to have a conversation would be riotous.

Good!

I was shitting it abit towards the end and I thought we needed a 2nd, abit like the Spurs game in the way that on another day we would have needed a 2nd else we'd have drew that, maybe even lost but again like I said after that match it wasn't another day, it was today and we've walked away with 3 points.

That said we could have won by 3 or 4 - they just weren't going in.

Imagine the scenes if we keep winning and Spurs keep not winning and we pip them into 6th place ?. Yeh i know it won't happen but Spurs and Arsenal really aren't that far ahead of us in my opinion. City are way ahead, then united and Chelsea are better than the rest, Liverpool, spurs and Arsenal are a bit better than us and then we're one of the best of the rest. But having said that we could still finish anywhere from 6th to 16th haha. I am feeling pretty confident at the moment though and add silva and one or 2 more and get rid of some of the dead wood and we are building a good squad. Puel is changing our style and we are becoming less predictable. Good times ahead i reckon.

We can finish above Spurts. There is a lot of hype around that team - and they will be more concerned with the CL now they know they can't win the league (like we did - oh yes we did - we only went and won the chuffing league!)

Yeh I've never rated spurs that much and apart from when they beat us 6-1 (our lads were on holiday that day) they've never looked that great against us. They have some decent players but not a lot of depth. Without Kane up front they are lost. And if spurs actually think they can win the champions league they must be having a laugh.

Mahrez was a baller again today, just a goal missing from his game! Thoroughly enjoyed it, a few scrappy moments but I’m very pleased with what we produced, thought we were in full control for most of the game and they didn’t really threaten all that much. Things are starting to come together now.

Nice 3 points.

....much better in the second half.

Good bravery from Gray for the goal but didn't do enough for me as the game progressed. Next game Shinji please.

Only real worry - Mahrez with that bleach job - is he trying to get noticed as he still wants way in January ?

Not really a worry the owners have no reason to sell in the middle of a season

Vardy needs to stop fcuking about with the fancy flicks and just put the ball in the back of the net.

Is that you, old bob?

Good performance and a deserved result, first half was a little laboured but the second much better and we should've added to our lead. Mahrez was excellent, Gray offered a lot, the defence was largely solid and Iborra and Ndidi put a shift in again.

After the disappointment of the second half at West Ham, this has been a profitable and encouraging week and table looks pretty healthy at the moment.

impressed with them.

i was a bit peed off with our shinji sub being so delayed. There was a break for injury (Simpson I think) after about 78 mins and after the break of about 90 seconds, we then decided to tell shinji to get stripped and he came on after 83 mins.

Sometimes it just looks as though things take us by surprise.  we didn't seem prepared on Tuesday for Spurs to get one back and we also seemed a bit confused what to do today once they brought volkes on - surely they plan for these things ??

Of course you support any manager of your team until proven otherwise but I just don’t rate Dyche although he has done an ok job . I just don’t think he will be as high in the table come end of the season and i think his teams football is horrible to watch

Done an ok job !?!?!?

Like pretty much everyone else on here I don't like the bloke but he has done a lot more than an ok job to get that club to where they are today on the resources he has been given compared to some other managers. Yes they will be mid table at best come the end of the season but there will be a few supporters of opposition clubs that would be well happy with that

I think that's a tad harsh tbh ... I think he has done a fantastic job with the resources available to him.

I thought Burnley were the better side until Brady got injured .

Yep an ok job, people have been spaffing  on how good he is  . I say ok as the first season they got promoted they got relegated and this season it’s too early to say how their season will go they could get relegated again . I can remember the season Peter Taylor was in charge and  we were top of th table only to get relegated the same season .

I think Puel has had a great start, of course we don't wanna get ahead of ourselves too early he's only been in the job what a month? When people compare him with Dyche i'm afraid there's no comparison at the moment, Dyche at the moment has took a championship squad to 7th in the Premier League.

Match itself first despite the goal, we were quite slow to get into. Second half we looked a lot stronger and hungrier. Felt 1-0 flattered Burnley to be honest. Guess we caught them on a off day.
