Argies, if you are going to pick on someone because you are sore losers, choose a bunch of soft lads, like the Welsh.

That's what you get for failing to address your midfield problems, play Messi on the wing instead of as an attacking midfielder, leave Higuain on the bench for most part, leave Dybala on the bench and Icardi at home.

Argentina are showing their true colours here. They’re a nation with no level heads or maturity whatsoever.

 

Whenever the going gets tough they fold and then they lose their temper. They never seem to have anyone with a brain leading them.

As I said earlier, Maradona was playing in a team, Messi is alone in a sea of individuals. Maradona had a much better unit around him. 

 

It's a bit like saying Mahrez won the Premier league alone because he's the most talented player in our team. 

 

Mind you, the real reason they prefer Maradona and even Tevez for that matter is that he's one of their own, a working class boy from a poor family, grew up playing street football in Argentina, played for Boca etc. 

 

Same reason Leicester fans prefer Vardy and loads even prefer Albrighton to Mahrez. Everyone likes a scruffy, hard working "local" lad. 

 

Messi is a posh lad raised in Spain. Just not the same.

Argentina to beat Nigeria 5-0, whilst Iceland draw with Nigeria and lose 1-0 against Croatia.
