I did like Darren Fletcher's comment that "both sides knew the rules beforehand" about the loser going out as though they'd both get the chance to play because the game has been so good.

Hard to swallow but Man City can only blame themselves.

Indeed. For such a great team, they should have scored at Spurs and not let 3 in at home.

What they doing letting Glenn Hoddle watch that?

He must be beta blocked off his nut, otherwise his ticker will have exploded.

Pochettino might like VAR now.

He dislikes it because he knows Tottenham get enormous amounts of dodgy decisions in their favour that might dry up. Against us just this season they've scored an offside goal and a clear handball. For all their whinging about decisions, deep down they know they are the referees darlings. No other team could gouge someones eyes or punch someone in the balls during a game like the Spuds and get away with it.

Maybe Man City should have made more of an effort in the first leg.

I don't know if I could carry on watching football if Liverpool win the premier League and Spurs won the champions League.

It'll be overlooked by the drama but Wanyama getting to the half way line in the 91st minute and seeing no other option than to twat it as far as he could into the stands was the standout moment of the entire match.

“VAR ruins the beautiful game. It kills the drama”
