Excellent. I would be great if they both could start. Can’t see it though.

If both had been at Spurs they would have been capped 2 years ago.

Imagine being Drinkwater. Couldn't buy a game because he played to us.

Great news and for both players which lifts the profile of the Club higher.

I said in the Summer that we would supply the whole left side of the England team within 2 years. I now think it may be much sooner.

Very proud of these two, and I'd written off Chilwell and Gray at times over the last few years, lets hope they get a few minutes on the pitch.

Can only be great for their confidence.

When was the last time we had 3 players in the England squad?

1974 according to LCFC official website.  Shilton got to be one of the trio,  no clue on others though.  Worthington?

Great news, would they have been called up if the game wasn't at the Kingpower!. It's now up to them to perform if they get on the pitch and stake a regular spot!

need a creative midfielder so call up a left back and a winger and not the creative midfielder. good job gaz southgate absolutely repped a waistcoat in the summer cos i’m pretty sure he’s a horrendous manager.

Great news to see our younger English players being recognised!  Its no accident that Chilwell, Gray and Maddison are the three U21 players with the most minutes in the Premier League so far this season.  Hope to see them all in an England shirt soon, although as fans we also need to keep the faith with them at club level.

Perhaps I’m the only person who thinks madders, whilst having bags of potential, has some way to go yet ......

plus gray and chillers were the best players for the U21 on Thursday .......

Whilst I agree he's not quite upto the pace of the Premier League yet I really don't think it will take him too long.

Why is there an assumption that they will play?  Surely both are cover ??

It's a friendly, surely one of the best chances to allow the testing of u21 players? Add that to it being both of their "home" grounds.

Just reward for their hard work.  I'm sure the game being played at Leicester might have something to do with their inclusion but nevertheless they have both been knocking on the door of the England squad this season.  I'm certain that both of them will grab this opportunity with both hands and do themselves no harm at all.

With Maddison's inclusion in the senior squad seemingly just a matter of time, the club can be very proud of our youngsters.

Special mention for Puel having faith in the youth right through the team too.

I think it also comes down to the fact that for the last 18 months they've both been excellent for England U21's and Southgate has followed them closely. Maddison has had a stunning year last year and Southgate is well aware of his long term potential but I'd have been surprised if he got the call ahead of Chilwell and Gray. All 3 could be in the squad next time around though. Maddison needs to go put a few away in Latvia and start turning more heads.

Great point that, we have suddenly become one of the youngest teams in the league, and Puel and the club are very much driving that.

Great news for the lads, I couldn't be more pleased for them.
