Our lads still look very nervous when catched on the break and too easily lose ball under pressure, but with justfoxes and Rachel controlling the game I was never in doubt about us winning with Magpies. Well earned 3 points, the better team won despite the ref being an unapologetic willy puller wank3r... Hope Vards is alright!

I’d imagine the ‘Rafa in’ branch of the ‘Puel Out’ Brigade will probably be quiet for the longest.

You wish, they'll go after Ashley sparring Rafa.

Full credit to Morgan for that win, he picks the team after all. Amartey, Maguire and Mendy superb, not much came off for Ricardo or Iheanacho but they ran themselves into the ground. Good performance, good win.

Great to see Mendy & Amartey - two players written off on here, getting a run in the team & getting better with every game

The front 3 never really clicked today........luckily for Newcastle, who were terrible.

Good stuff, clean sheet and a win away from home anywhere is excellent. Maddision out wide isn't bad but he's definitely best central, it's good to know he's versatile. Mags dominating when he had to. Really pleased fro Amartey, not only has he figured out what his best position is, he's growing in confidence and bossing some of the work at the back. Morgan not bad although not really tested. Ndidi scrappy in possession, Mendy decent again. Frustrating at the start of the second half where we couldn't hold the ball, even Kasper misplacing passes a couple of times, the midfield losing the ball every minute, Ricardo too

Newcastle are in big trouble, you look at their side and it doesn't seem too bad. They created nothing, no impetus, no energy, no endevour; they're winless and joint bottom of the League with Hudders & Cardiff.

We've got Everton, Arsenal & West Ham coming up next which will be more testing which should set a more accurate tone of the season

I would like to hear Puel getting some credit from the 'outers'.  What I find weird, is that they take a position and defend it come what may.

Everyone makes mistakes.  I thought that Mendy wouldn't make it here for instance.  The difference is that I am pleased that he is doing well and pleased to be wrong.  Judging by the match thread, it's as if many of the Puel outers have backed themselves into a corner and won't change.

Seventh.  We can have no complaints.

It’s way too early to change that’s why! Yes it’s been a good week, but we’ll see how we get on against tougher opponents,Bournemouth was only a few weeks ago. Enjoy the win rather than focus on those with a different opinion to you and making it a contest.

We've had a touch having Huddersfield and then Newcastle, it's given us a much needed confidence boost. 6 points, 5 goals scored and even managed a clean sheet. Both teams are a disgrace and this gives us a good platform now to kick on.

Professional display.

Ooh, the snide comments are back just because we don't agree on certain things.

Might be time for a break from this place again.

Sick of getting hounded and told what opinions I should and shouldn't have.

If you want a discussion which we may or may not agree with by all means that's fine, if you're (And others) just going to make petty comments, what's the point on even voicing the opinions.

Another load of comments about how bad our opponents were... maybe its the way we play that makes em look that bad?

Huddersfield and Newcastle have been the pits all season though?

But that is the very point.  We do not need to "change" as we didn't jump to the worst possible conclusion from the off.  We are not saying Puel is the Messiah, simply that he gets too much stick.  You think we are being "fickle"" and changing our minds but you fail to realise we just didn't start from the same, unusual, starting point as you so we don't need to be fickle.  Most of the people on here that you seem to think are too positive or fickle just react badly to people being so negative it hurts, they are reactionary more than anything.

I did enjoy it and agree that Bournemouth was a horrible game but look where we are overall.  After nearly a fifth of the season we are seventh.  Facts are facts.

I'm not focusing on other's opinions, I was just asking if there are any Puel outers that bring themselves to give him some credit for a good start to the season.

Well?  Can you?
