jayfox26 Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Horrible tactics again. The only way you can compete against City is by pressing them and getting in their faces. We are playing into their hands by having every player stood on the edge of our own box. Absolutely woeful!
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 At least Mahrez's free kicks haven't changed.

desertfox2 Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 The nil nil hope Ward saves a few pens tactic out the window
ronnup Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Part one of three down. Now we lose to Chelsea then City again. And Puel is gone.
EastAnglianFox Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Has to be a reason we dont come out with intensity and a high press...and you cant blame it all on the players! What in earth is Claude saying in the lead up to a game
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 Just now, Head Honcho said: Too easy to blame ward for that. Poor defending meant he had to cover the whole of the goal and had he moved towards the post KDB would have curved it to his right. Exactly. Simpson turned his back and backed away. Then the other two failed to press on De Bruyne giving him too much space.

HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 If we went for this and played the right team we would have a chance. They are ripe to be hit with the counter but we don’t have the players on the pitch for it....where was Nacho’s help???
Izzy Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 1 minute ago, car1os said: Where’s the intensiteeee and qualiteeee? tbh, I hope we sack him just so I don't have to read this any longer
justfoxes Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 It’s like men against boys at times with the skill and quality Manc City have on the pitch !!
Stadt Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 As if it wasn't obvious enough that playing players that haven't played together in an unfamiliar formation would cost us. Ghezzal should have been positioned wider to screen the pass to the wing and Choudary should have been blocking the passing lane. Miscommunication and lack of familiarity born out of unnecessary changes which are Puel's fault.
Fightforever Posted 18 December 2018 Posted 18 December 2018 why not forfeit if you're not gonna try?
