winteriscoming Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 I only want simple things in life - like us passing the ball forward to one of our players. I know it's asking alot.
Bossman Blessed It Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 How we can still look a bit suspect at the back when 9 of our 11 players are defensive is quite the achievement. Maddison has to come on and we need to find a new sport for Ghezzal.

Neither side looked interested or can control the game. If City didn't keep yielding possession, Everton really wouldn't be in this at all. I reckon teams that KO..later or the next day. (New-year)... Have an advantage....Ditto xmas!!! Thou'. Ndidi and .edu really sloppy...in short and middle passing....I hope on 50-60mins we see Maddison!!
woznotwos Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 We are doing a good job of stifling Everton away from home. Unfortunately our own passing is stifling our efforts aswell. Poor Jamie , i wouldnt blame him for wanting away.
lcfcsnow Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Remember when we had Kante and Drinkwater as our central midfield

Ndidi looks like his confidence is shot. I commend Puel for sticking with a young Ndidi to improve him but I'd rather see Hamza to be frank.
Gazza M Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Don't care if dire if we manage to bundle one in 2nd half.

This is a truly awful match. I can't remember turning a Leicester match off before, but I think it's going to happen today.
UniFox21 Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Can see someone being sent off in this one, ref is calling for a lot of scrappy things.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Well done Matt Piper on the radio, the other guy tried to blame the “slow pitch” for the abysmal game, Piper shot him down immediately.

Stadt Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Best case scenario with this team is a 0-0, going away to probably the most comparable team to us in the league trying not to lose is disappointing. I know it's a busy festive period but having less of the ball is more tiring.
daverollo Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Change to 4231. Drag Wilf and Ghezzal and replace with Maddison and Gray. only Ricardo and Evans not on the piss last night.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 I'd honestly think about bringing Maddison on for one of the DMs. Get someone closer to Vardy. Go 4-4-1-1. Albrighton for Ghezzal also.
UniFox21 Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Lovely impartiality from sky, all the clips of that half being of Everton shots

Deeg67 Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 I'd like to see Claude throw Vardy a bone and let him start one match with Shinji up front. Be good for his psyche. I kind of get what Puel is trying to do here, which is to clog the middle of the pitch and disrupt Sigurdsson from doing any work there, and it's actually working. But without Pereira and Chilwell bombing forward and with Ghezzal absolutely stinking it up we have no outlet whatsoever, no ability to sustain possession or generate a real threat. Choudry has been excellent but as usual Ndidi and Mendy give nothing going forward and since Choudry doesn't either, it's just a jailbreak every time we touch the ball in midfield.
TheSomersetFox Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Lot of tired minds and bodies out there for both teams it seems. Absolutely dreadful. Ghezzal is up there as the worst player i've seen since Ryan McGivern
