Excellent win. Puel changed it second half rightly and got his deserved victory.

Evans was really good. Simmo was solid too and Ricardo continues to be superb. Great goal from Vardy and enjoyedthe celebration.

9/12 points over the festive period is a great haul.

Poor first half but it was for both teams, it was just one of those poor, boring games.

Second half was decent, are we finally seeing some flexibility from Puel?!

Some impressive performances in that 2nd half today.

Woke up second half. Puel is trying to give Rachid chances but he’s not taking them, we’ve seen what happens when you don’t take chances under Puel; you end up out the squad like Nacho.

We we also have a fresh bench of regular starters ready to smash January... when you look at Everton, they’re all shattered and overplayed.

Excellent management over the festive period really, bet he’s gutted about Cardiff!

Is Ricardo the best signing since Mahrez? What a player, truely world class. Not pretty but a thoroughly disciplined performance at another top half team. Our first top flight away win on new years day since 1938. Get those T Shirts made up.

Well I certainly don't need any cocaine now.

What a win, great effort in the second half.

The defence were immense, especially Evans and Maguire, Choudhury had another good game, Ricardo best signing since Kante.

Puel out.

Only beat Chelsea, Man City and Everton over 11 days.

Doesn't know what he's doing.

Well said. But there will still be the naysayers.

Thoroughly deserved after the second half really. Everton are ****ing awful. Really, really good defensive display in the end. We’re actually very good away from home under Puel.

Defensively this team is light years ahead of where it was - I don't see how even the most rabid Puel-haters can deny that.  Obvious issues remain with creating chances, and the mix in midfield is clearly wrong despite Puel going back to it over and over.  The problem is we don't have many two-way players - right now Chilwell and Pereira are about it, so Puel has to choose his poison and he's generally choosing solidity at the expense of creativity.

Shocking to watch at times. Especially in that first half but that's a HUGE win. More important than Man City or Chelsea because we prevented a team around us from getting points as well as getting 3 for ourselves.

Evans, Choudhury, Ricky and Simpson all had a really good game.

Got to hand it to Puel, he is absolutely world class at converting diabolical performances into results. No idea how he keeps doing it, but I suppose when you've got Vardy scoring literally every chance he gets it helps.
