GingerrrFox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 With Wes highly likely to be leaving in the summer. Who is going to be the next club captain? Will it be Kasper? Although there’s rumours he would like to try pastures new. Who would be your choice for next club captain?
StanSP Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Maguire or Evans if not Kasper. Vardy if he's still here as well. We used to have a lot of leaders to call upon around the squad but feels like we're lacking some these days. The role of captain seems to have developed over the years and it's not just one person you can rely on these days - you need to have many vocal characters and assertive players in the team now. Those players who you can rely on and to call upon when required and not just turn up for the coin-toss at the start of the game.
kezza1884 Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Got to be the big lad Albrighton or maybe Kasper!
volpeazzurro Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Caspar needs to concentrate on his own game let alone other people's, just because you've got a big gob doesn't make you good captain material. Evans seems a controlled professional individual and although it's only a personal thing, with the odd exception, I prefer to see a midfielder or defender as captain.

LinekersApples Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Kelechi has this in the bag. He is eloquent, has a footballing brain that is second to none and his passion, desire and work rate are as infectious as herpes ridden whore.

Thought you and fin had ran away after earlier bombshell
ozvaldo Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 If Kasper goes: Harry as main captain. Chilly as vice. Can see Hamza being a captain in the future.

st albans fox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Harry wanted to be a future club captain when he arrived ........ however, his ambitions have moved on ........
Blue ROI Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Most of the side are too young or inexperienced for it so Maguire or Kasper. Likely that 1 of the 2 may not be with us next season mind.

SecretPro Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Youri Tielemans Give him the armband and 300k a week and we can all relax.
EastAnglianFox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Kasper seems to be a bit above his station as it is....making him skipper could be a disaster! Although after what his old man has come out with today I doubt we need to worry as he'll be at a Madrid or Munich next season
fuchsntf Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Want an outfield player...I still believe Maguire will stay....So Maguire!!...if not 2 surprises I want to put forward.. If we are really determined to push the youth ethos!!?? Either.... Maddison or Chilwell. That's motivation!!
Leicesterpool Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 I'm leaning towards Marc Albrighton, seems to be a good figure whose always well behaved shall we say. Always gives 100% and makes an impact in games. Certainly an inspiration to others. CV wise he's got a lot to brag, he's won the premier league and scored two champions league goals.
