Tielemans

Recommended Posts

The strong lending of Youri Tielemans at Leicester City did not go unnoticed in England. After Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City is now also applying for a possible transfer from the 22-year-old Red Devil.

Leicester City is not the only club from the Premier League that Youri Tielemans wants to integrate definitively this summer. According to The Sun, Manchester City also shows a profound interest in Tielemans. For example, there would have been contact between City and the Tielemans real estate agent.
Public favorite
Possibly next season, after Vincent Kompany's departure, a new Red Devil can be admired in the shirt of the Blues. Although City will have to pay the high price tag - Monaco wants to raise at least 46 million euros -.
Tielemans played a strong second half of the season during his loan at Leicester City, after a difficult start of the season at AS Monaco. In 13 competition matches for the Foxes, Tielemans scored three goals and five assists, making him a public favorite in Leicester in a short time.

He is under contract there, if no club meets the fee then he stays put.

They’ll sell this summer. They won’t keep him, if nobody meets the fee, they’ll lower the asking price.

Either, the club are fairly certain that we are getting this done, or we are keeping our moves extremely private. Does nobody else find it strange that we arent linked with anyone else in this position?

If we dont get YT, this is our weakest area of the pitch so you'd think if the club truly didnt believe this would happen the feelers would be out on other players.  Until I start seeing a flow of other links in this position im going to believe there is a chance!

In which case they'll just send him out on loan again. It's not like his value will depreciate, especially if he impresses again. As has been said before, £60m is just a starting position. It'll most probably get negotiated down. But Monaco can sense the desperation from Premier League clubs to either maintain or secure top 4 status. Why wouldn't they try it on? Wouldn't you?

Monaco over price everything you can’t even get a coke there for less than a fiver !!

He’ll be going Newcastle now. ;) Looks like 6 could be about to become 7.

I agree and also we shouldn't disregard wolves.

Villa could become a contender aswel.

In my opinion we have to get everything right this season to compete. If we dont other clubs will over take us.

I honestly be happy with just Tielemans and a right winger that is a huge game winner and game changer. A striker is a must aswel.

We should be able to get 3 extremely good players for 90 million (maybe)
