Newcastle (H) Match Thread

Well-deserved, Newcastle is much the better side this evening, our passing is dreadfully indifferent, we cannot meet their energy. Clearly we thought this would be a walkover. I have been waiting to see BR make a move to fix this, I will say Puel for all his failings would've made a quality adjustment by now. Rodgers apparently hasn't a clue what to do yet.

We've been very sloppy tonight. Ndidi has been awful and wes caught out for the goal. We can't lose to these, they really are ****ing dreadful!

Put the pressure on, be the better team, concede the first goal.

Oh, crap!

So totally not deserved.

We’ve had more possession

We’ve not been the better team

This shows how much work needs to be done still, because this is how teams will come to play us at home during the first half of the season

Why not? Well worked goal. It’s not about number of chances or possession, it’s about quality and concentration. They had the former and we lacked the latter. Leicester fans should not complain about snatching wins from less possession... it’s how we won the league

We’ll not be able to get back in to this now. They’ll shut up shop.

Not moving the ball quick enough, simple as that, looking like a puel performance at the moment. No risk, just passing it back every time.
