Jamie Vardy Appreciation

Whatever happens with Vards playing wise, he needs to have a lifelong role with the club. In some ways, in the modern era, he is the club.

'Club legend' gets banded around for a lot of players at a lot of clubs, but he really has done it all with us. Probably the most remarkable professional football story there is. Club Legend isn't strong enough to describe him.

Hit the nail bang on the head there mate , I couldn’t of said it any better 🦊🦊

Looked pretty sharp last few games /My admiration is for him staying with us despite offers there must have been from other clubs .Weve paid him great money but he has repaid in full and got a lot of respect  along the way ( from Leics fans that is )

Enzo doesn't know if Vardy will be there next season. Just says they'll sit with the club over the summer and see what happens...

enzo doesn’t give anything away. He’s ice cold in interviews

He's an absolute living legend and we must cherish every moment we get to see him play. He has to have a part to play next season, even if it's just as an impact wind up sub.

Bit of a stretch to say Worthington played a major part in a relegation. He only played in 7 games in 77/78 before being allowed to leave by McLintock before the end of September.

And Keith Weller hardly played because of injury.

Name the stand.

Build the statue.

Retire the shirt.

Put Becky in charge of the social media.

Rename the road.

Have Red Bull declared the drink of the city.

Install a massive inflatable shhhhh by the away end.

Have a Vardy blimp hover over every game.

Get the Pope to beatify him.

Get orange monks to seat him next to Buddha.

Name a Bank Holiday after him.

Lenny actually said something uncharacteristically prescient when he said that an intelligent Number 9 is worth his weight in gold to a manager. He's absolutely right. We have to offer him a new contract, we'd be mad not to. None of our other strikers are even half as good as JV.

Also, I love how much he genuinely loves the club. Find him a role when he does retire and get that statue sorted ASAP.

The fact that he's had such a great end to the season, makes it's an easy decision for the club. He has to be offered a new contract. Will he except who knows, but regardless, he's the greatest player we've ever had. Nothing will change that.
