Jamie Vardy Appreciation

Shearer at Newcastle is the nearest similarity I can think of, the major difference being is that Vardy has won stuff, a lot of stuff. He needs to be here next season.

If you could distil everything that I have loved about this club in the last 50 or so years into (super) human form - you'd get Jamie Vardy.  He IS Leicester City football club. He has to stay in some role.

I'm torn. I would love him to stay and get to 200 but I don't want him leaving after a relegation which is very likely.

Enzo doesn't know if Vardy will be there next season. Just says they'll sit with the club over the summer and see what happens...

Looked pretty sharp last few games /My admiration is for him staying with us despite offers there must have been from other clubs .Weve paid him great money but he has repaid in full and got a lot of respect  along the way ( from Leics fans that is )

He's an absolute living legend and we must cherish every moment we get to see him play. He has to have a part to play next season, even if it's just as an impact wind up sub.

Another year definitely! Then make him the attacking coach, Then the Chief scout. Then in charge of PR. Eventually, give him the catering contract and so on. He has been more loyal than an old Labrador. He leaves when he wants...not before!

Lenny actually said something uncharacteristically prescient when he said that an intelligent Number 9 is worth his weight in gold to a manager. He's absolutely right. We have to offer him a new contract, we'd be mad not to. None of our other strikers are even half as good as JV.

 

Also, I love how much he genuinely loves the club. Find him a role when he does retire and get that statue sorted ASAP.

The fact that he's had such a great end to the season, makes it's an easy decision for the club. He has to be offered a new contract. Will he except who knows, but regardless, he's the greatest player we've ever had. Nothing will change that.
