And they wonder why they're shit. Smells like they're just trying to weaken their opposition, in the sense that "better he ends up at our place than somewhere else". He's got talent and was one of Palace's best players last season, some say the best. Let's see how he does.

Mason Mount will get a chance as well.
Popular Post KingsX Posted 27 June 2019 Popular Post Share Posted 27 June 2019 4 hours ago, Finnegan said: I dislike Spurs for entirely non LCFC reasons. Poch is the new Wenger, he's fundamentally dishonest and has an excuse for everything. Kane is an immensely arrogant and self interested footballer, most of the stuff he comes out with is about him and his individual records first and the team second. Son is frequently made out to be the likeable Spurs player but he's the worst diver on the team, he throws himself to the ground waving his arms around with his sad puppy dog eyes at the ref whenever anyone gets near him. Dele Alli shouldn't require any explanation. Then there's the ridiculous media obsession with them, wanking themselves to death because they play reasonably attacking football with a few British players. Hoddle, Murphy and Jenas being the obvious worst. Then there's their fans. I don't hate them because of 15/16, it's just that 15/16 have me exposure to them. I'd never even thought much about Spurs fans before but then I saw Fighting Cock and Spurs twitter, reddit etc. Lots of fans get called delusional on the internet and it's often unfair (Newcastle fans for example, I think they mostly know they're just a mid table club) and I appreciate every club has moron fans (this place must look awful to outsiders at times) but, Christ, Spurs surely have the highest % of mouth breathers. I should caveat this by saying I could have a similar rant about half the clubs in the league. I don't really like anyone other than Leicester. I don't consider any of them rivals, I'm well aware it's my own personal pettiness and resentment. I just hate everything quite easily. Bantz aside, my main issue with Spurs is that they are flat-track bullies who fold when it finally counts most. Apparently they’ve never “bottled it” because they’ve never fallen back from the leading position? The hell does that mean? Many times they have been right there, in positions where pressure-time victories could mean a Cup or even a title -- and they’ve not delivered (except perhaps some gratuitous violence on the pitch). Kane is truly their emblem. He does pour it on against inferior opposition in less-than-critical matches, but something changes when it counts most. I can’t forget his interview right after Belgium beat England to take their WC group. Kane was relaxed and smiling -- he was happy. He’d finished as top scorer in the groups! Maybe Southgate had set them to lose? But the great ones would never feel like that after losing a match that big. His lack of concern with the team performance when the chips are down, coupled with Poch’s excuse-making, say it all about Spurs. It’s been several years of the same. They are what they are. Yes, Levy has built his squad honestly and well -- but at the end of the day its mentality is a fatal flaw, and does appear to stem partly from the manager.

In interviews he accepts that he wasn't good enough when he was here and that other players in the squad took their chances. We won the league whilst he was officially a Leicester player, so he can't really complain if others were chosen ahead of him. There are several cases of players returning to a club years after leaving the first time round. Unlikely here, but Kramaric is a fantastic player and hes' proved it. The fact he's done it after a major setback is exactly the type of character that you'd want in any good team.

The problem in this case though, is that he would be facing the same issues as when he was last here? There is no doubt he’s progressed as a player, but he would still be behind Vardy in the pecking order, and although our style of play has changed and could suit him more, we now only play 1 striker? Why leave Hoffenheim to sit on our bench yet again?

We could use him as a left winger and if vardy gets injured, stick kramaric up top and bring in barnes/gray on the wing, like spurs do with son and kane. Why leave Hoffenheim to sit on our bench yet again? He wouldn’t be behind Vardy as he wouldn’t play as our 9, even though he is capable of that. He’d play in either the left or right wide forward position so would be competing with Barnes, Gray, Albrighton, etc. When he was here last we played more direct football that relied on less technical quality and possession so he never had a chance to shine. Now that we are a technical team, having someone who is both so comfortable on the ball and who can finish and who is versatile enough to play multiple positions is an attractive prospect. Given his age profile and wages I doubt he’d be of interest as there’d be little to no resale value and he wouldn’t fit in with the ages of the rest of the team. You could also say that he’s not the fastest player in the world. But he’s still got tremendous plus points and there is a reason we signed him in the first place!
