Happy with Soyuncu - far from the finished article but he was solid and showed some promising signs. With some more consistent game time he could really start to come on this season. He even gave Maguires trademark forward runs a go a couple times which was great to see.

Thought Lord Farquhar had a brilliant game some quality passing coming out of his area with the ball he looked rather composed in slab heads place save your money let’s give the lad his chance have Benkovic in for cover, Hamza had another fine performance along with chilwell I fact all round quality tonight  !!

Ayoze looked pretty decent can see him chase Vards for LCFC golden boot, really enjoyed the quality and composure on display tonight a few tweeks by Brendan maybe another winger Zayech maybe ?we look like we can compete with any team we come up against !!

 

Future’s looking pretty Decent for Brendan’s new LCFC Revolution ! :bounce:

Nah he came off in 70th minute, just resting him and giving Fuchs some mins

My view of Soyoncu’s game seems to be very different to everybody else’s. Positives first. He got forward well and his movement further up was good, couple of misplaced passes, but nothing major. But I thought his defence performance was pretty woeful. Gave away numerous free kicks and always seemed to be chasing the forwards as they’d always got passed him. His positioning is not good enough. Even at the end there was that lobbed pass that he completely misjudged and the player was in. Similar example with Rotherham, poor positioning and had to dive in, he missed and the player scored. I hope he’ll come good and that it’s just a confidence issue but I really didn’t feel like he was good enough. I know I may be in the minority on this one.
