Wolves H Match Thread

Not really a lot to say about that, just missing that clinical end product. Perez had some good opportunities to slide in players in advanced positions but chose to go safe a few times. Need to be looking for openings all the time.

Meh.  Nothing terrible there, but that lineup killed our ability to build up play - just a ton of empty calories on the ball.

Need to get one of the plodder twins off, preferably immediately.  I don't know what Praet's availability is given he's only been with the team two days, but he for Chourhury would be an obvious choice.  If not, Barnes for Choudhury and drop Tielemans into a true #8 role.

All over them. The comments on here are genuinely baffling. X

We're really not.

A lot of possession and nothing created with it bar a few harmless long shots.

You're confusing aimless passing with productive play.

Wolves have just sat back and let us play, they've not had to do much to stop us.

Look like we run out of ideas when get to the final 3rd.

Maybe Hamza or Ndidi may have to give way to make us more offensive

Mixed thoughts really. Yes we have dominated possession but Wolves certainly were not at their best and on another day we could be one or two down despite the possession.

Having said that, if Vardy would have tapped the open goal in rather than trying a fancy flick, we wouldn't be at 0-0.

On the brightside, other than one small arse twitch moment, Soyuncu has looked as good as Maguire. That last Wolves attack where he tracked back, Maguire would still be 30 yards behind dragging the excess weight of his head!!

He has a touch of everything - just needs a little experience.  There will be miscues but he has the look of an elite defender.

Playing a well set up, skilful team and looking the better side.  Confidence exuding throughout the team.  Not many chances yet but you don't get many against good teams.  I'm happy enough.

good to see FT back to it's moaning bastard self.

good half, dominated against a strong team who we're in direct competition with this season for the higher places.

we've not made the most of our shots / chances. hopefully we will in the second.

cheer up you miserable fvckers. football is back.

Is Puel still here? Very much the same problems. At least we haven't conceded.

Dominant in possession but doing nothing with it, too many in the middle and lacking the width. Wolves are organised.

Oh yeah Vardy didn't have a tap in from 3 yards did he. We're the positive side in this game

Final ball lacking but all over them in every other department.  Hard to not be encouraged.

Ndidi,Soyuncu and Ricardo have looked good. Tielemans some promising moments. Chilwell quiet - no rampaging runs down the left.Perez and Vardy a tad disappointing.
