West Ham Post Match Thread

Very important win considering the disappointment of the last 3 games and surely a psychological boost for us.

And, though West Ham, it was still an away game and the nerves are bound to have been flourishing given it was a relatively raw starting 11.

Need to take the away game at St James' very seriously and aim for another 3 points mind. Got to keep 2nd place for as long as we can.

After the 2 losses this was our biggest game of the season. Needed a reaction and got it. Happy for BR, this could have really backfired.

Evans outstanding again.

Season back on track.

You're actually gonna question the loyalty of fans who sh@t it when we put out one of the worst teams we have available to us when we only JUST managed to get away with it against a team near the foot of the table who rested 7 players themselves? Get a grip.

Clueless post

And you were all worried with that team line up.

It was a bold move but you can see why as the first team looked completely knackered and out of ideas in the last three games.

Is Brenda the tea lady? I think you might be right! She does know best!

Great result! Back to winning ways. Fuchs needs to start over Chilly in the next game. Maybe even Justin on that side? Choudhury needs to start also.

Let's be honest before kick off we were pretty convinced that the tea lady had picked the team

The manager never fully knows what he's gonna get. The point is he's more qualified to judge it than the FT gurus on here that have once again embarrassed themselves

He never fully knows, but when you've seen x team play together about two dozen times and y team play together never, then there is a fair element of luck involved.

There was nothing wrong with being concerned about pretty much an entire B team playing. You don't see that often in the prem from a team like us chasing a champions league spot. It was a huge call.

Masterstroke from Brendan.

All the players stepped up and we go home with 3 points.

Thought Justin looked solid along with everyone else considering the game time most have had.

it is still 1-1 on my stream, I think we might lose this. And we should take Gray off now!

GOALLLLLLLLLL

Tim Sherwood saying no Leicester player out that have ever taken a penalty before.

Then for Gray’s goal saying someone should have dragged Perez down to stop the counter.

Useless, clueless c**t

So relieved that the risk BR took paid off, and it must give him a lot more confidence in what exists within the squad as a whole?  But WH really are in the mire!

Have we signed Andy Gray from Wolves?. Might cost a bit.

There's a lot of people who were having a massive pre-match tantrum that need to eat a whole big piece of humble pie right now. Great intensiteee from the boys.

I can see this being the start of a slippery slope. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see us come unstuck against West Ham.

It's entirely possible that both West Ham and Newcastle will beat us on current form. Then where will our position be..?

God yes, if we finish there. But by then we'll virtually be in free fall. Man Utd and Spurs starting to show form...

Would you like cream with your pie, you massive flappy flapper?

I'm worried these premier league teams are not taking this competition seriously enough, fielding reserve squads like this

On the contrary, some clubs, like us, are concentrating too much on the cups and it’s costing us.

dont think it was a wise selection, more to do with the fact that west ham team was awful. Everyone did well though, made up for Gray

Which is probably why he chose this game to change things. At least give them credit when we win
