A lot of people see Milner at Liverpool as the ultimate 'utility' player. That one player who loves the game, doesn't give a shit where he plays but wherever he is asked to, will put in a shift. That's one thing you look for in a captain - not saying he should be permanent captain as it involves a lot more than that, but for any kid on that pitch or watching, he is what you'd aspire to be in terms of effort and application and attitude. Give your all and no one can ever ask any more than that. He epitomises what 100% effort looks like.

Probably one of the most underrated players in the league. Deserved at least a shot at an international cap. Always shows the spirit and will fight for the team.

yeah he has a few blunders now and then but so does everyone but on balance this guy has been massive for this club and deserves every medal and reward for his endeavours. Legend. Will be an emotional day when he finally bows out

think everyone who follows city loves albrighton, but also think he suffers from stuart broad syndrome where everyone assumes he is older just on basis of what he has achieved and who with

 

he is only 32 and considering he is the model pro he can continue doing this role for leicester for as long as he wants

...he is very much drifting into becoming part of Ridgers backroom team!!!

  He can see a role further down the line and he has now effectively become the senior pro in the Morgan/ Fuchs stature in the club.

  He has become more vociferous and animated and most likely, I would  think, doing his badges at the moment.

  He was always a model pro, he seems a lot more comfortable in his skin, and that is perhaps down to Rodgers and what he now expects from Albrighton.

It’d be interesting to see him play in central midfield. Especially if we’re playing a diamond where he’d be playing in a similar position to RM anyway.

Yeah he did play there 2 or 3 times under Puel. I actually thought he looked alright playing there.

 

I think centre back and centre forward are the only outfield positions he's never played fir us.

He played him behind the striker, I was thinking as a CM in a three or a diamond.

Just an absolute workhorse who gives you at least a 7 every game, wherever he plays.

 

Said it before, I'll say it again...he's our James Milner. Other players that look better on paper come in, but he'll always be there when you need him.
