Brentford 0-1 Leicester - Post Match Thread

Nacho naturally seems happier since Rodgers is here. Not as closed off or 'miserable' even in post match interviews etc. Love this new signing

A win is a win.  Nobody injured and most of the A-team rested for bigger things ahead.  Ugly days can be good days too.

Not pretty but it'll do.We didn't really click, never really got going but didn't really need to either. Only the result counts.

Brentford worked hard and can count themselves unlucky. On a different day perhaps.

Kavanagh was wretched as usual, so many soft free-kicks and giving that corner when Sian Massey (who made a great decision for the disallowed goal) clearly said it wasn't. Some odd advantages too.

Let the game flow.

Nacho was brilliant, while Praet was pretty good. Back four solid, Fuchs in particular did a job for us. Such a canny operator. Hamza was good in the first bit sloppy in the second. Ward's reaction save was top draw.

Perez was poor - he needs good players around him to flourish. I hate to say it but Marc is done. He has looked poor the last few games. Gray is his usual boring self. All fizz no substance. We should be looking for two wingers and shipping those two out in the summer.

Dire performance but we are through which is all that matters.

Terrible second half and were clinging on a bit towards the end.

Should have been out of sight in the first half.

We're through and that's what's important.

Brentford must have the best scouts in the country to produce so many decent players for a b team.

I think it was a professional performence second half

Fuchs what a bloke what a man, he will wont to gback to america but any chance of his staying ahs to be welcomed for his leadership.

Job done but that second half was a difficult watch.

If Brentford had better quality in the final third, then we could have been looking at an upset.

Fuchs, Praet and Iheanacho were excellent.

Gray can go elsewhere, not good enough.

A sound performance against a good team , great save from Ward but should not have been a corner. Only downside for me is Demari Gray for the life of me I just don't what his role is.

Pleased with the win but that was so painful to watch, I dont  recall a single shot on their goal in the second half. The midfield was on a beach they were that poor. Anyway onto the next round.

For christ's sake BBC. Ooh, if Leicester hadn't scored early, if Brentford had converted one of these chance, if, if, if ...

Give it up Beeb. You wanted your giant killing, you didn't get it. Wrap Jenas up in his children's size Spurs coat and scarf and take him home, it's over, you lost.
