matty98 Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 Wolves fans seem disappointed by this on twitter, some saying he should be starting for them. Always a good sign and no risk as only a loan. I'm happy with this
Finnegan Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 Well that came out of nowhere. Always thought he was tidy enough.
wardyfox86 Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 People saying just keep Benko as 3rd choice? But he is young, needs to play, and also needs to prove he can play a run of games without getting injured. This is a safe signing.

TrentFox Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 Very solid piece of business. Makes good sense at so many levels.
Stadt Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 Wasn't expecting fireworks for a back up but it's hard to be excited. Weird move for him though because he's barely going to play (hopefully).
AjcW Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 Makes more sense than Vest(it’s Friday cba to spell)... Hope Benko does well at Bristol and comes back to push for a starting spot next season!
GingerrrFox Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 And people were ****ing slating signing Vestergaard...

We are letting a young back up go out on loan for much needed week in week out football and replacing him with a slightly older back up that will sit on the bench. Nothing weird at all.
FLAN Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 Decent decision. No massive fee for a back up. Wait til summer and maybe attract a higher calibre player
Foxes1 Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 Wolves fans not happy he's leaving City fans not happy he's coming. Oh well
Shane Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 Underwhelming but he could surprise us. If he does well he should be very affordable in the summer because he has 1 year left on his contract. Sign Demiral to compete with Evans/Soyuncu and Bennett could be a decent 4th choice next season.
Guzzgog Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 He's gonna be a squad player, it's only a loan so what is there to lose? We were never gonna sign anyone to replace Evans or Cags so this is the best option imo.
roblcfc84 Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 Don’t understand the comments that this is weird. Solid CB with PL experience signed at low cost as cover for starting pair. January is notoriously troublesome unless you are willing to pay over the odds. Steady signing to solve a squad problem not a starting 11 problem.
TMELcfc Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 Rodgers still thinks he’s in Scotland I don’t get either why we keep being linked (trying to buy) slow centre backs when we want to play such a high line... it’s a complete no no on football manager 😂
EastAnglianFox Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 Yep, this will do looking at it for what it is, bags of experience if called upon, knows the league, knows the language so no time needed to adapt and not a shoddy defender at all, all allowing Benkovic to playweek in week out for a decent Championship club.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 He is merely a squad player, a good option to call on. Makes sense to me
Haywood_6 Posted 31 January 2020 Posted 31 January 2020 Jokes aside, it's a good singing. He's English, experienced centre half who can come in and do a decent job if we need him to.
